This is a pretty important question, as I'm always bored and I'm really into home chemistry that fizzes and bubbles and stuff, so, how can I make it fizz more and fizz longer? I don't really care about drinking it, I just like the fizz, and it's for a kids' party, so I'm gonna list the ingredients and such, like eye of newt, etc. So, to make it fizz more, do I add more vinegar, more baking soda, less colouring perhaps? Someone please answer?
If you're not looking for something drinkable, you can increase the foam quite a bit (and make it last much longer) by adding a few drops of dish soap...
I also like to add different colors to each liquid so that the resulting liquid and foam are a third color...
I wouldn't drink baking soda with vinegar and food coloring by itself, but if you mix it in with some grape juice or punch, it fizzes and tastes okay. You can substitute lemon juice (citric acid) for the vinegar and get a better flavor with the same effect.
yeah...........i was just wondering....is there a way to make something glow without adding those complicated chemicals that i cants pronounce or using a black ligth or using the glow paint and powder thingy? My friend made slime that glows in the dark....he said how he just added random stuff like vinegar and salt.........and glue and the inside of a marker....
