  • I love taking care of people and I really like working as a CNA for the most part but my parents put me down and I always feel I have no where to turn.

  • hey Heather, I am having such a difficult time through nursing school. I just started this semester and I have worked as a CNA over the last summer. I keep asking myself if this is what I really want to go into because I just don't feel I'm good enough and I feel that so far nursing hasn't been very interesting. I have very little family support and really no friends except my bf. What would be your advice to me? Ive been terribly depressed and unmotivated most of the time.

  • yay!!!! WOOOP! ahhahaha great video!!! i love love love your personality! :D

  • hey where do you get your cute tank tops from?

  • @PelirrojaXO Hi!! I get a lot of my tank tops at Target.

  • Great story! I can totally see you working at starbucks haha , ur upbeat personality is great.

  • awesome video!

  • Excellent video!! After completeing my MA program I'm seriously thinking about applying to an LPN program. I have always wanted to be a nurse. Thanks for sharing. Peace and blessings!! :)

  • This video jus made my day i was feeling so defeated about nursing school and this video made me realize that things could be a lot worse and i just need to work harder! thanks Heather!!!

  • I hear you. I got into the program at 30 y/o, a guy new to all of it, struggled through the first 2 semesters before realizing the disparity of neglecting self-care, healthy coping, and an actual support system. Anyhow, I have pedi, OB, and critical care coming up in a few weeks, and I want this semester to be different. Thanks for the encouraging, it is always appreciated.

  • @oneaware Keep it up, you will make it and it will all be worth it.

  • Good story!!!!!!! hurray for your Dad!!!!!!!

  • Great video, we all need inspiration to pursue our goals, and this video was right on time!

  • hi, Heather, first off I want to say that i love your videos. they are so informative and entertaining when needed. what i was wondering is if you have any advice for new RN's trying to get into the field? everyone wants you to have a year or 18 months experience but its impossible to get a job. im so frustrated and just need some kind of encouragement. thanks, shiffawn

  • Great video!!

  • @NurseBrownSkin Thanks girl!!

  • I really needed to hear this from you. I'm having some trouble getting back into school to finish my prereqs. Thank you for the great video. NEVER GIVE UP. My dream is to be a RN and work in the emergency room. :):)

  • @TheEculp Awesome!! Do whatever you have to and follow your dream of being a nurse. Sometimes it takes patience, but you will get there if you don't give up. =)

  • Heather!!! I just love you girl! I think I smiled throughout the entire video! I'm glad you made it out of that accident and like you said, the great thing about our struggles is that we make it out of them! Great great video and I'm happy you shared your story! Thanks for the shout out!!

  • @Renee4christ and Heather

I love you both, you guys are my fav nurses on YT...well you and that oh sooo hot nurse Mendoza... gosh I'm such a cougar grrrr haha, don't tell my hubby I said that ;)

    Love you guys, God bless=)

  • @2thcr8z Ha ha. Aww, thanks!! =) xoxo!!

  • @Renee4christ Love you too Renee!! Your videos make me smile also, and I love your attitude. =)

  • I think I hear an ice cream truck in the background at the beginning of your video...

  • @NurseStephen Ha ha. It does sound like that. It's just background music.

  • you should have been a teacher! :p

  • @wantsomecc Maybe someday. =)

  • You are so inspiring! You're always positive and u have a great attitude. (:

  • @2kayls2 I try to be. I love nursing too. This world can be crazy. Some patients will be cracking jokes with me and I respond by saying, "you have a great attitude." and they say, "it's important to keep your sense of humor even through the rough times."

  • That's some story. So inspiring!! Nursing school is hard, very hard and I always tell myself "if this doesn't kill me, then it makes me stronger"... I haven't died so far... and I'm way stronger than I used to be, in every aspect of my life. eg, I don't get "stressed out" very often...

This vid made me think... :)

  • @PinskyKyaroru I don't get stressed that often either. I just do what I have to do, the best I can and I know I will eventually get through it.
