I've never been a Trekkie, but I will probably be watching TREK when it's uploaded anyway, because it sounds so amazing.
I'll probably have to become a fan anyway, given that Cumberbatch is going to be a baddie in the new film. #foreverafangirl #hashtagsarepointlessonyoutube

You're so right about writing at certain times!!! A lot of people (myself included) can't write unless it's 2 in the morning or something. For me it's because I can only seem to get inspiration when I'm struggling to keep my eyes open :P
ok there are a few things i want to say, 1. this looks absolutely amazing! and i am totally in love with the idea of a star trek musical! 2. the fact that you are putting it on YouTube totally makes you even cooler then before which i thought was not possible. and 3. i love the fact that you are wearing a David Bowie shirt in the rehearsal footage this is totally unrelated to the stuff you said in the video but i love it when i find out that people i like are fans of bowie!
This is spectacular, it reminds me of my company. I am actually going to (hopefully) be directing the Theater II class (or at least some of them) at my high school this coming semester, do you have any tips?
This reminds me of working with a big group of people back in college about 2-3 years ago, a simple little play "Taming the shrew" I was a terrible actor but I was tall and strong so I helped a lot with the physical labor and anything else someone needed help with. We all had a blast and I met some awsome people who I still see today. Enjoy it Lauren, this will make fond memories I promise ^_^
I love Accio Actors (and by that I mean the small handful of people I know in the cast :P), and I hate that I can never see any of the performances! But I'm really happy everything is going so well!!
Oh my gosh, this is absolutely wonderful. The whole thing about us becoming more mature and comfortable in theatre made me so ridiculously happy. It's so true, and that's one of the many things this production has brought us!
But did you really have to include the Derp Kiss? #soembarassed
My internet connection does this thing where it drops to bellow dial-up speed every now and then...had to do it AS SOON AS I noticed this video in my inbox :(
This is awesome! It's actually quite interesting for me specifically because a bunch of people in the Nerdfighters of New York group (we're on Facebook so that means it's official) are making a parody musical about Doctor Who. I think I'll post this in the group because I feel like this could be really helpful for us.
How did you guys do publicity? Also, how did you find rehearsal space and performing space? Was it hard to do, or did it just kind of fall into your lap?
@tammytamnov My email is in the underbar. If you guys have any questions, just send me a message and I'll answer any you have! Putting on your own production is definitely a time-consuming (and expensive) venture and I'll be happy to impart any lessons I've learned to help you guys out. :)
You should post more 7-minute vlogs. Sort of the anti-SSS.
As far as writing goes, I agree with you on the middle of the night thing - If there are people around (and I'm not writing WITH someone) I find I just get bored and either start talking to people in the room or go find people to talk with. Writing is a pretty lonely thing to be doing. Doing it in the middle of the night forces you to focus on the task at hand though.
I, however, don't plan shit. Jump straight in with an INT. (or EXT)
Thanks for sharing this with us Lauren! Anyone who follows you on twitter knows how much this show has become your life, and how important it is to you. Thanks for showing us a little bit of the craziness that is your life and Trek.
It's so nice to see a team of people working together, and watching you be the pivot point of it all. I'm sure opening night will be awesome!

@aliciatastic No, that definitely needed to be included, Alicia. Thank you, Lauren.

You're friend Neelesh? Whats he like? Bet he's a complete sexypants.
Everything I saw in this video was amazingly cool. My favourite part was the gigglekiss.

Welcome back again, Lauren! XD
Very nice behind-the-scenes! Pity I won't be able to see the show live! Any chance that one of the performances will be put on the Tubes?

I've missed your face on my screen, Happy new year.
I'm well chuffed that Trek is coming together so nicely.
I'm not chuffed that won't be able to go see it.
