hair trigger = epic in paintball. sense my main marker has something like a 3 lbs trigger pull and my hunting rifle has a .5lbs trigger pull....... not so good

@lunatics209 i sold mine double trigger long time ago, and i don't remember who made it. But i reccomand that you buy a straight blade double trigger, and not like mine, that have 2 curves.

DO YOU WANT A SENSITIVE TRIGGER? just put a section of the same spring in the top right whole of the trigger (were the pin goes) and you got yourself a supper short trigger pull. think of it as a hair pin trigger mod.

Could anyone please help me!? :/ I have an E-Grip on my tippmann A5, and when I select burst fire it shoots like 10 balls instead of 3... and full auto keeps going for a while even after I let go of the trigger. Same with the responce and turbo settings, they fire about 5-8 balls instead of the 1-2 (trigger pull & release) that it should be doing... Do I have my velocity too high? Is something wrong with my E-Grip :\ Please help me out D: (By the way, it was on a fresh tank of Co2) Thanks...

@FIawedDesign i had the same prob. just go out and buy a very good battery. reset your trigger to factory settings as well.(hold the button down for ten seconds till it turns red and let go) if it doesn't help contact tippmann they will help you out.

Hey Borg I have a problem with my e-grip. I used this mod, and it workes awsome, but i wanted to know if you can help me; my egrip on any setting, even semi(i can't walk the trigger too fast either), skips shots. I'll pull it like 10 times and it'l only fire like 7-4 shots. Any ideas what i should do?

@tank1demon at certain speeds, if you have not upgraded your cyclone feed, the cyclone feed will not always feed a ball into the chamber. this is due to the mechanical nature of the cyclone feed. upgrade the feed and the piston that runs the feed and you should be alright (thats with a response trigger i beleive).

@supergooddeal If it is taking 3 mildly rapid fire shots to set off the 3 round burst mode, it is working perfectly. If you read the manual, it is how it is set up. Fire 3 shots in about 2 seconds, and then each pull after will put out 3 rounds untill you stop pulling the trigger for more than a second or 2. If of corse you are set to the burst mode.

Thanks man, What is actually not working is the air to the extraction of the ball. All I get is a clicking of the e-grip. The first ball will shoot out and thats it. all you hear is th clicking of the e-grip after. I want to sell it because I don't play anymore, but I want it working first.

my e-grip is the first, original Tippmann grip, you change modes with a twist of a screwdriver, and there's no LED's on it. but it's very battery efficient, you get several cases of paint per one 9V battery...

no, it doesn't effect the marker performance, you only get a easier trigger pull, so you can shoot faster...

yes, Tippmann gave that X7 for me, but i left it in the States, i have A5, i don't need a new marker...

I just purchased a tippman A5 paintball gun with an e-grip old Style were you put a screw driver in and twist to change. I would twist the the screw and it would click super loud and would stop until i would twist it back and it Still hasn't change the semi auto to full auto?

Hey you can do this on a stock x7 grip too! I did it and it worked really well but i ended up selling my x7 for a better gun for me. the steps are exactly the same though- try it!

hey just saw some thing out there on the net borg maybe it would make a good idea for a vid but with the e grip you can use two small rare earth magnets instead of the spring you put them in to the trigger pack so they repell eatch other

well it sounds like electronics in the board is messed up, there's nothing you can do about it, call manufacturer of the board and try to replace it...

e-grip and e-trigger are the same, you have choice of firing different modes, like 3 round burst and full auto, you program them with pushing button and watching LED light...

response trigger is gas operated trigger, that can shoot full auto, but you need to set it up right, and you need to train, to be able to use it right...

so if you wanna shoot fast or full auto, get E-grip...

you have screw on the left side , where the hose for RT exit the marker, there you can adjust it, but you will still need to train, the right trigger pressure to find a "sweet spot" so you can shoot full auto...
