    lol, cute doggie

  • can you show helper work things to

  • excellent demonstration, how long did it take you to get her to this level of competence?

  • i cant see shit, because there is retarded text in the way, ALL THE TIME

  • is that really how you pronounce Schutzhund?

  • @snakeguru117 yes that's how you pronounce schutzhund

  • I don't think I've ever seen a GSD jump that high before. Definitely an excited puppers.

  • my cavachon(yes, a small dog:)knows how to bite the sleeve now,but i tell him hold, and he does hold for a while, but then he lets go before i say voost.how can i train him to hold when he bites???

  • This are nice videos but there demonstrations not training videos. I would like to see more theory behind the videos. You've trained her great but please help the rest of us.

  • i do this :D with my boss' gsd's there all shutzhund trained to level 3 and have competed in the german seiger show :D

  • lol, i want to train my dog at this, he has great potential, even though hes a kelpie!

but why does she jump while shes barking? is it because shes excited, or is that how theyre trained?

  • @wolfydan121 it's been over a year since you commented, but thats just something they didn't correct her for. Some dogs are all up in your face barking during a bark and hold, some are lower, and not as "bouncy" lol. Depends on the dog, the drives, the trainer, etc.

  • @wolfydan121 : The dog is trained in bite work first, initially in prey drive, where the bite sleeve is the prey item. Later, dog moved into defense drive. The running around looking for the "bad guy" is done as part of training the "send-away" command in obedience, where the dog is sent in the direction the trainer points to. The trainer then does a combination of both methods; the send-away to teach the running toward a particular blind pointed to, combined with the reward of the bite sleeve.

  • how do you teach the dog to run to each bilnd

  • The dog jumps up, in an animated "in your face" bark-and-hold because only the trigger of the helper "running away", i.e: prey-drive trigger, then sends the dog into the bite sleeve upon motion. the dog is corrected if it bites the helper if he is motionless. Already trained dog, & has been taught to bark & hold, &resist the bite, until given "permission" to do so, via the motion of the helper. Dog is excited to bite to relase of prey drive, but can't, so it jumps in anticipation of bite.

  • riveal!!!!

  • i love how shes just barking in his face lol
