I don't know if that would help you in the right direction my friend, because I'm not sure at all about these solos.. I might have them all wrong... BG solos have a lot of harmonized guitars and therefore it's difficult to hear what's going on..

Hey man you´re a professional. I suggest that you try to use the pinky finger so much more for better accuarcy, and trasport the licks for a comfortable position at lower frets with the bright strings. Use the finger and play on better positions, you will see how you get better. Cheers lol

Man, you remind me of my style of playing, i also barely use my fourth finger during solos :) Keep rocking and keep doing it by ear, you feel way far better when learning it by ear.

using tabs is like using cheats in a game, it ruins the fun!

Yep, I don't use my pinky unless it's absolutely necessary. It's the weakest finger, I can get stronger vibrato and bends with stronger fingers. In this type of song it's possible for me to learn it by ear, 'cos the leads are pretty easy and simple. In faster solos I have to use tabs.

It completely digital sound.. Line 6 TonePort UX2 and GearBox software. So my guitar is plugged into sound card, not amp. But in some vids I use Marshall 100DFX. Max gain, Max bass, Max treble, mid section 50% and lots of contour = my sound mostly :)
