Great videos driver. You must log a ton of miles in a year. I drove OTR for 17 years and another 5 local out of Omaha Ne. We were LTL and JIT so i pulled many a 53FT trailer in high wind and snow and came near losing it many times. Stay safe and keep on trucking.
You have some great videos driver, some of the best i've seen. You must log a ton of miles a year. I drove OTR for 17 years and another 5 local covering 3 states from Omaha Ne. We ran LTL and JIT frieght so I pulled many empty 53FT billboards in snow and high winds, That's a treat. Stay safe and happy trucking.
Great Videos driver. I trucked for 22 years but am now retired(Started late in life after retiring from the USAF)Watching the Vids brings back some nice memories, We ran mostly LTL with On Time freight so i pulled many empty 53,s in high wind and snow, now that's a treat. Stay safe and keep on trucking.
@rogertrucker it's interesting the way you encountered different kind of weather while on the road.I love travelling by road more than anything else because it gives me the freedom to go wherever I want.driving along a straight, long, long, lonely stretch of highway makes me feel as if I'm heading towards the end of the world.
I can feel winter's chill bearing down soon on the area. It looks like there still is a little fall color left up there even though the peak is a couple weeks past. I wouldn't mind going up there and catching a few northern pike and grilling them straight out of the water..YUM!
this is just outside of North Bay I think

Northern Ontario needs to get a proper limited acsess highway system, once you pass a certain point the roads become one lane each way and undevided.

Nice Video. Is this black thing in front a windshield? or is it against little rocks?
badkarma79zh 4 years ago
It´s a bug deflector. It also deflects the salt spray so it only messes up my upper windshield.
Cheers!

Northern Ontario can be pretty, but very boring as well. I am not a fan of the single lanes either, too dangerous. Great quality video! Keep safe!

Well dont come to Australia. Most of the highways are single lane. Keeps ya awake, the twin lanes are boring and put ya to sleep.
