I was pleased to hear some white stripes on a basketball commercial. As a player myself, rap/hip-hop has always been synonymous with the sport so it's great to hear something different, commercials lately have introduced new music to people...hopefully this continues.

@WhatsOnNext Meg's sloppy and minimalistic drums is what makes the band unique and recognizable, and gives it the raw edge I think... of course jack's voice and guitars play a big role too.
In response to ajdicks' comment, I am an 90's/00 kid, and I absolutely love white stripes drums (though i guess my musical tastes are categorized as wierd by my peers).
I rated it a 5, though this isn't what the White Stripes looked like at the time of this album. It would have been cool to see what they looked like at that time, but this is still good :)

@bogmire777 You see The White Stripes are like a root beer float. Jack White is the root beer and Meg is the vanilla ice cream. Root beer is fucking good and while vanilla is a little boring and plain it's still one of the the greatest ice creams. These two simple things can make something that will make you go on your knees and cry. I'm talking about both The White Stripes and root beer floats, and to say one is better than the other is fucked up. They are one, like a root beer float.

Meg is an alright drummer. But minimal and slightly sloppy drums is part of this band's sound. So she's got the right style.

@WhatsOnNext Meg's sloppy and minimalistic drums is what makes the band unique and recognizable, and gives it the raw edge I think... of course jack's voice and guitars play a big role too.

I rated it a 5, though this isn't what the White Stripes looked like at the time of this album. It would have been cool to see what they looked like at that time, but this is still good :)
