  • Typical insensitive French bitch.

  • Realize: not all women are cruel. This one woman deserves to go to the Funny Farm because She ruined the life of a nice guy

  • I thought the entity who broke his heart was a dog, not a woman.

  • Oh wow! This gives the older song a new perspective. Was the guy really misunderstood? Was the woman really cruel and unthankful? It really makes you wonder who the good guy is....

Or it's just another song, and I'm just over-analyzing things again. XD They need to mash this song and the other one together. That would be awesome!!!

  • @VanessaOsbourne Welcome to my life in the wonderful kingdom of Over-Analyzing :D And I agree, mashing this and 'they're coming to take me away' together, would be awesome ^^

  • women are cruel

  • This song is my life

  • i like this song its so funny lol

  • its about a dog. the writter scarred himself when he wrote this, so he turned it into a schitzofrenic talking about his dog, and hes being taken to the mental hospitol.. google it

  • Genius

  • No wonder the guy went mad, he had a crazy talking dog.

  • @lovexavii: because you've heard too many versions. You see, when u think, it all makes sense. The dog ran away, and the guy begged it to come back. Then, the dog LEFT HIM ANYHOW, and the guy WENT BERSERK. now he's afraid that ppl r going to take him away bcuz he's gone mad.

  • @RNH31214 why do so many people think that? That makes no sense to me!

  • the song isnt even about someones wife...its about a guy whose dog ran away!!

  • @RNH31214 r u that fucking stupid. its about a woman who is happy that they took her husband away & On the other song it's about a man singing about how his ex left him and he is REFERING to her as a MUTT aka A DOG

  • @Noblity54 In this song, His dog has run away and he is having an imaginary discussion with it ("Well you just wait, they'll find you yet, and when they do they'll put you in the ASPCA, you mangy mutt").

This is from Wikipedia, So no I'm not fucking stupid, u r..

  • Comment removed

  • @RNH31214 Uh... Just because it's on Wikipedia... Doesn't make it right you dumb-ass xD someone could easily get on it and change it... Mangy mutt = nice way of saying bitch.

  • @RNH31214 oh my god that's the saddest thing I've ever heard....

  • @RNH31214 -ahem- Joséphine de Beauharnais was Napoleon's first wife, so... yea...

  • This is funny but if you want hilarious check out jake89806 and watch them all! Tell Jake that i sent you!:)

  • O_O this is terrible.Napoleon XIV's is better.so this is a response to theyre coming to take me away eh??it's cool i guess....

  • thats awesome :D

  • @ThePinkpunk55 Didn't Jerry "Napoleon XIV" Samuels actually write and produce this sequel??

  • For those of you arguing about Napoleon XIV's original song being about a woman or a dog.

Jerry Samuels (aka Napoleon XIV) himself confirmed the “loss of dog” theory, saying that he knew he was dealing with “serious subject matter,” but he felt a man going insane from losing his dog was somehow “less serious” than a guy cracking up after losing his girl.

Copied this from somewhere, but there are multiple sources for it.

Still this is an interesting song.

  • O_O'

  • German

  • Sounds like my ex in her perriods....Lol.

  • Haha I just looked up who was napoleon's wife on google and it says josephine, so that's why. Just realized that. I'm happy they didn't let you take over the world!

  • what accent is it??

  • @ExpertiseGamer sounds French to me.

  • reminds me of a short angry little woman

  • this is even creepier O.O. Especially when she says the ho-ho hee-he ha-ha it sounds like a monkey making sounds

  • ROFLMAO! funny song i tell you! funny!! funny!!!

  • I just listened to every taken away song in a row, and now I'll never be the same again.

  • @ADeadHeaDz same here

  • LOL, i had no idea there was a reply to napoleon from josephine! nice. this reminds me of jizz in my pants being responded to by puked in my mouth!!!

  • I'm going to theorize that they both need to be in the funny farm.

  • they both drove each other insane, then they both eventually got caught and driven to the happy home and went COMPLETELY INSANE....

  • that is PETRA BOLLICK ,,ON vocals,,,, PITTY for short ! She's like that in real life !!!

  • Kittens. *twitch*

  • To Napoleon and Josephine: Don't worry, guys. Dr. Phil can help you.

  • @Babyluma22 Dr. Phil can't help himself! LOL

  • Sigh... When he called her a mutt, it was meaning a nicer way to say b*t*h ^^ Happy? Me too. Now lets enjoy the insanity.

  • Duh he wasn't talking about a dog. He called her a mutt that doesn't mean he's talking about a dog lol.

  • @RFZT lol, you're right man.it's really the icing on the cake (hard to type when you're laughing,lol....happens every time I see this)

  • Seriously? You think he's talking about a dog? The whole ASPCA thing is him simply calling her a bitch.

  • when she goes ha ha shes sounds like a chimpmunk lol

  • She sounds like she needs to be in a happy home too.

  • lmgdao...........this had me laughing so hard,it brought tears to my eyes.tell me she really didn't say "you raked my house" or,at least that is what it sounded like......rofl

  • @Foolishpleazure she said wrecked

  • @Foolishpleazure She said "you wrecked my house"

  • Glenn Beck's wife should be singing this one day soon.

Given how completely insane Beck has been acting, this song should really be for his suffering spouse.

  • Napoleon and Josephine need Jerry Springer.

  • @ejcjpj JERRY. JERRY.

  • napoleon XIV is much better! >:(

  • guys, just to clear up the dog/wife situation....

he knows she's a human, he keeps making dog references because female dog= bitch... and that's why she says 'that's what you get for calling me a mutt!' because they both refuse to say bitch....

  • OMFG how annoyin Napoleon XIV was funny this is just trash

  • @Raven11436 That's funny you think it's trash but it was on Napoleon XIV's only album.

  • They're coming to take her away....Ha-Haaa!!!

Yep, in the wake of her reply to Napoleon XIV's novelty,

Josephine XV headed for the loony-bin in a straight-jacket....

  • You bitch! Dx

  • This is what happens when you order one of those mail order brides...

  • LOL I love both these songs XD

  • Its about a dog.

  • @Risi666

    It's not about a dog.

If it's the 'Mangy Mutt' you're referring to, it's not. It's her talking about how terrible he was. He basically called her a female dog that nobody wants, If you don't believe me, go to Wikipedia.

    Prequel to the song:

'"I'm Happy They Took You Away, Ha-Haaa!" was recorded by a female performer named Josephine XV'

    Sequel to the song:

Jerry Samuels wrote and recorded a sequel to the original record during 1990, named "They're Coming To Get Me Again, Ha Haaa!"

  • Es gibt schon kranke Menschen.

  • ...I think she needs to go too. O.O

  • @mamaseeter ikr

  • I'd imagine going insane is like going to sleep after you've stayed up for 2 days straight.

  • @shadowclock12 no, it's more like wanting to wake up when you're already awake but you behave as though everything is a dream XD

  • She sounds like my mum.

  • OOOoooooKKKKK! well back to my facebook.

  • I am scared!

  • a-way that's what she/he says.. o.o

  • killed it :P

  • I'm guessing on a whim that their relationship didn't turn out good.

  • Where are they from??

  • i thought napoleon's version was awesome... then i heard this. she's one vindictive lady! i love it! :P

  • I can't believe how literally people are taking the words.

  • About this whole "he's talking about a dog, not a woman" I have a theory.

What if the guy was SO TOTALLY out of his mind that he was absolutely convinced that the woman was actually a dog? So, that way, in that version, he WAS singing about a dog since it's from his point of view, and he thinks she's a dog.

Or this woman's totes crazy and she's convinced herself into thinking that he's talking about her, when he's actually talking about a dog. Either one.

  • @Gwennehbird or it could be josephine really is a canine, and napoleon imagines that this canine is actually talking to him, like the talking dog scene in the film "summer of sam."

  • @wallofvideo or it could be Napoleon(e) B(u)onaparte talking to his first wife, Joséphine de Beauharnais...

  • @Gwennehbird Or he has gone insane and thought his dog was a woman, and he is speaking from a last bit of sanity he has left, and this is part of the dog's subconscious or something... I don't know I guess it's a crappy theory.

  • my theory was that hes imagining the all this

but now i have to re think it D8

  • @Gwennehbird AWESOME!!!!

  • @Gwennehbird OR, and I'm just spit-balling here, the song actually IS about this woman. This song is basically from the woman's point of view on the whole fucked up situation that's going on in Napoleon XIV's song. Just because in "They're Coming to Take Me Away" he has a line about her being "taken away to the ASPCA" and says "mangy mutt," doesn't make this song about a dog. It is, indeed, about a woman, and this song is her response to his.

  • *sob*

  • @atimnie hes right. it was about a dog if you go an look up another one of his songs its they're coming to take me again. it says he cleaned there cage and ect stuff you do to a dog. i dont think that he kept his wife in a cage >.<

  • @heathbun123 I dunno, there are some warped people out there. Given the album cover, if "keeping her in a cage" was the worst he ever did, I'd be amazed.

  • I thought you arent supposed to know who or what he is talking to... :/

  • time 2 sing this 2 my brother lol

  • I like the Napoleon one better, to be honest. For one, he has a better voice, and doesn't put on a cheesy accent. The voice-trick where it gets higher is also done better on his version. And not that it needs repeating, but he was referring to the dog. (The fact that he didn't mention his wife sort of says something, no?)

Still, she had her issues too, clearly. They could share a padded room...though I'd still like his better.

  • to anyone thinking the original is about a woman, I have a quote from Warner Bros Records, which is the company that produced it:"the recording is a first-person rant by a seemingly mentally ill patient who is bemoaning the loss of lover, only for the listener to find out the singer was referring to a dog who ran away." so there. it IS about a dog. it IS NOT about a woman.

  • @SK25Reboo That's a quote from Wikipedia, not Warner Bros Records

  • @SK25Reboo It doesn't matter how many times you say it, you're still wrong, the song is about his wife or girlfriend. Unless you have an official press release or quote from the Warner website, I wouldn't bring it up again.
