I was there. James Rosen, while well meaning, was in a place where his voice could be heard over the speaker's voice. People who paid to come from hundreds or perhaps thousands of miles to see the event couldn't hear over Rosen. The gentleman who came to talk to him was not an official of the Values Voter Summit or any of their sponsors, as far as I could tell. He was just a guy who came to hear the speakers and couldn't. Noting like this happened at the 2010 Values Voter Summit.
It's like talking in a movie theater while a movie is going on. The reporter was quite rude. He should have waited until AFTER the event and then reported on it. While the event was going on, he should have taken NOTES w/a note pad, so that he could properly report on the events. That is what a professional journalist would do.
The reporter probably came at an inopportune time and didn't make the proper arrangements to not be disruptive toward the organizers and security at the event. Bad job on his part.

Heh, well frankly I've tried pretty hard to understand conservative principles but they always seem to have inherent flaws to them.
For instance, the premise that deregulation ALWAYS leads to deconglomeration. (And thus more price competition) Even when that's absolutely not true in medium/low rate of return, high economies of scale markets.
And frankly Ron Paul's "Let them eat cake", i.e. "Church charities are the answer to our healthcare crisis" is utter bullshit.

My fear about government health care is this...
How many things can be consider health
Food/ water, shelter, clothing, medicine. How long until the medicine is not considered a suggestion, or perhaps obese people will be taxed extra for being a drain on the healthcare system and creating a larger carbon footprint. Its not that I want people sick and dying...I just dont want the government in every part of my life. I believe small gov is the only good gov.
