those bows are extremely heavy,,,,,,have you tried a traditional wood bow? no moving parts, no need to take to a bow shop for repairs, no moving parts.....
Actually, after replacing this old thing with a new Darton, plus extras, and spending $1,000, I went to the archery range on a day when the traditional guys were making their bows from scratch. I raced out and spend $5 on a piece of wood... came back, and with help from the guys, I made my own bow complete with the string. I'm having more fun with the $5 bow than I ever had with the fancy stuff!!!
Luckily, it was a long shot, which gave me more time to put the bow down, pick up the camera, and run to catch up to the arrow in flight. Man, was I tired after that!!!
Thanks! Actually, this is my old, Bear, WhiteTail 2. Recently, I purchased a Darton bow along with tons of accessories (carbon arrows, etc.). Until I tried a new bow, I didn't know how old my old bow really was!
I almost bought a Browning, but everyone advised against it. Hoyt is great... and I'm pretty happy with my Darton... although not completely. I think that I'd recommend Hoyt.
Thanks so much... I appreciate it. This was actually a project for my film class. It was fun to do, and I had help from my cousin who had some great ideas.
As soon as i saw him, i thought... " Man, this guy is a ninja "

Artfully done. Great photography, sound and music. Very dramatic, with cinematic quality.
