  • OMG, just realised this is going to look like a football(not american)

  • lets play socer now :D

  • OMG This is the music from FIFA 2003...haven't played it in like 8 years!

    Deliberate allusion?

  • that is awesome

  • Thanks for the great idea!

  • How many do you need for that?

  • What a Beautiful creation NOW WE MUST CRUSH IT!

  • I am SOOO GETTING THIS FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!!

  • your experience confuses me

  • Awesome.

  • worst part is the end!

  • For the record, you can make a smaller version using 612 balls, just in case someone feels like buying 3 sets instead of 6.

  • @Spenckem If you look in the video description, you'll find the dot count formulae there for different sizes. You can use even less than 612 dots for a similar shape.

  • @szakiii ah i see, this is true, the amounts lower than 612 should be able to make a dodecahedron, but can they have the cool dented look?

  • @Spenckem Yeah I think there's one or two that still look well.

  • yes you can - I've made the same look out of my 216 set - it only took 180 ball :)

  • yes you can - I've made the same look out of my 216 set - it only took 180 balls :)

  • this is crazzy man your awesome

  • how much is a neocube

  • @KG12Productions It id $65 for 5 216 sphere cubes on ebay

  • wow man! i cant wait to get my hands on these

  • Dude Dude Dude can you make a house out of these that would be awesome and i dont mean a huge house i mean like a little one Thx

  • Hey! can i get those awesome Nanodots in Mexico?

  • you have waaaayyy too much time on your hands.. but thats ok because i got about 2000 of them :)

  • geometry ftw

  • if lady gaga got a hold of nanodots...i think she would probably wear them like a mofo

  • your videos inspired me to buy one of these :)

  • Wow I understood that formula right away and I'm gettin an F in Algebra II. FML

  • wanna be my husband??

  • @Tair77 Tell me something about yourself and send a picture :D

  • @szakiii Im only 13, but I LOVE creating cool structures, and I was wondering... Is it worth the money? ( like for me ) Because I only get £15 a month... I want some but I dont know if its worth the £30 or so, shall i buy them?

  • @killer6468 Well I won't tell you how to spend your pocket money but if you really like math, geometry, creating something and letting your imagination loose, these magnets can occupy you for many-many hours :)

  • @szakiiiGuess i'll have to buy some then :) Anway, im starting my job soon.

  • @killer6468 Ehm.... you can get them for A LOT CHEAPER on ebay, I bought 3 for like 10 pounds each. just go to ebay type Neocube, and buy from Hugo...(...=some numbers lol, dont know full name)

  • @szakiii Dude man. 1 : Awesome figures . 2 : You always put some awesome muic in your videos. I like it. :D

    3. Are you sure that NanoDots are better than NeoCube or Buckyballs? cuz they are more expansive, and The NeoCube has a sweet offer (1027 for ~85$) so i'm wondering. :)

  • @chiliman93 Thanks man :)

About the prices, Nanodots might cost more but you get a more durable and robust product for it. If you plan to play with them a lot, Nanodots definitely worth the money.

  • @Tair77 lol taiiiiiir XDDDDDDD

  • @RandomAldoPipson First, it was not that much. Second, you don't get the whole point. I didn't buy these stuff to see how many people will watch this movie. Furthermore, when I've heard about these magnetic balls, I didn't even know I'm ever gonna make any videos. I just bought a few more sets, and a few more, and a few more to satisfy my fantasy. Then, after like a year since I'd bought the first one, I had the idea to make a video. That's the story.

  • They aren't cheaper than Neocube lol...

  • show ur freinds that this is a huge ball and inside it is alot of matter !! (magnets) so try to hold it and it feels heavy !!!!!! and they will hold it and say wtf ? (coz it looks huge and full of magntes wich it isnt

  • Very nice I've watched a few of your vids now and really enjoy the shapes you create with this simple balls. And everytime you crush the shape at the end Argh! Lol =) Anyway I'm going to get a few of these too so i can have a go at making some shapes, there's hours of fun in there! =) Many thanks. Also I been looking for this song for a long time too! I knew the sound but forgot the name of the song. Thanks for this =)

  • I just ordered neocubes and I was wondering what the difference was between neocubes and nanodots. As in size (which is smaller, larger) and magnetic strength and ability for making models.

    Thanks for the great video!

  • every time you crush one of your shapes, i die a little inside.

  • my favorite platonic solid!

  • Safri Duo! Yay!

  • Safri Duo! Yay!

  • dude, this is awsome

  • That took a lot of 'balls' to do ! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • can you use nanodots with the neocube magnets?

  • No, they are not compatible with each other.

  • @szakiii if the basic structure of a magnetic ball is a + side and a - side, then it wouldnt much matter, right? i mean, i am asking a question here. i really dont know. could it be size? BB are 4.8 i think and nano dots are 5 right?

  • @szakiii

    why are nanodots better?

  • that song was used once in my school, in a play i was lol

  • is it possible to make a rhombic dodecahedron with those?

  • If you use rhombic faces like in 008, sure.

  • @szakiii okey =D

  • do you think i could get a coupon for 20 or 30 percent off please?

  • imagine if u made a bubble icosahedron from that

    :D

  • at 1 angle, it looks liek the Death Star

  • That's very cool are you able to create any uniform polyhedrons or any other geometrical shapes, besides platonic solids?

  • Yeah I can create for example half-regular solids as well. However, when using more than one type of basic polygon, due to the fixed ball size they don't look such 'regular'. Some of the polygons stand a bit more far from the center than the others.

On the other hand, if I use one ball as one vertex of the solid, it solves this problem, but the solids will have a fixed small size.

  • If possible could you put up a video? Thanks.

  • awesome entry song :D

  • take a pack of bbs and magnetize them somehow lol

if thats possible and you know how please tell me

  • What do you mean by bbs?

  • you know like the ones you shoot squirrels with, for hunting, the metal balls

they are about the same size

  • Did you get the Omega set? Is the Omega set worth the money?

  • At the time of my purchase, the omega set did not even exists. But if you want to buy a lot, it's definitely cheaper to buy an omega instead of 4-5 alphas.

  • hell yes i got it you can do so much more than a 6x6x6 neocube and each sphere costs less

  • Dude, that's amazing.

  • How you can do the last part!!! im do small things but i cant destroy them that make my cry :*(

  • I just bought first set...

    counts 216 balls...

I hope I'll could do this one day :D

  • That is SO cool.

  • Az nem semmi :O

  • nice

  • i beat it feels good at 2:57

  • MMMMMmmmm

  • I successfully recreated this one with only 180 spheres. It didn't look as intricate, but it definitely worked out well. I will post a video response later...

  • You should see if there is any shape you can make with all of your ballls, or maybe post a video of your whole collection lol

  • I'll see :)

  • PLEASE make a giant cube. that would be so cool!

  • make a shape with 2 balls? JK lol

  • You have a CRAZY amount of these magnets. I wish I had that many.

  • how much neocubes u have?

  • I have 8 alpha sets. That's a total of 1792 balls.

  • Awesome ! ! ! !

  • yep thats what 200 bucks will give ya. Lol I Want it!!!!

  • HOLY FUCK!!!

  • ware u git that pls rite back

  • theneocube(dot)com

  • go search neocube on google genius...

  • wow!

  • lol... badass... i would feel horrible crushing my masterpiece like that though! haha

  • does someone know de name of this song??

    thanx

  • Safri Duo - Played-a-live

  • I'm so fascinated by what you make! I only have 1 neocube but I will order a new one very soon... I hope that you will come with new shapes soon. And 1 more thing...: SUBSCRIBED!!

    See ya

  • That's a sick amount of neo magnets! Looks like I'll have to buy some extra cubes for these enormous structures. How many sets do you have?

  • I have 8 atm.

  • omg

  • For everyone wanting to buy them; they can be bought a lot cheaper on ebay than on theneocube. On ebay, you can often buy the same 6mm cubes in sets of 20 for $1.99. That means that for the same $30, you can buy 300 magnets instead of 216, or you can buy 216 magnets for $21 with 4 magnets extra.

Of course, there is shipping to account for; it comes from hong kong, so probably has higher shipping rates than from theneocube; so you have to see for yourself if its worth it.

  • Perhaps, but if those are 6mm balls they are not the same as the Neocube balls which are approx. 4.7mm in diameter. They are some other kind of balls. Maybe the strength of them also differ.

I wouldn't recommend buying such if you already have Neocube balls. Mixing different types is not a good idea.

  • i have not bought any yet... my only concern is quality. is it possible to have low quality 6mm neodymium magnets? they ship from hong kong, which is why i'm worried.

  • Well, I can't tell you anything about those 6mm magnet balls, I only have experience with Neocube. But we in Hungary say cheap meat produces thin broth :)

  • yes, there is a similar expression in russian. however, i was just wondering if such magnets are standard everywhere, or if they could be weaker than others, for example.

  • Of course they can. It depends on the manufacturer.

However, if you build from one set, it doesn't matter that much. But if you want to build something bigger from like 1000+ balls, it can easily happen that they just can't hold together because of their weight.

  • ok, thanks.

  • Arrrrggh... I hate living in a third world country!!! They cost thrice the price to me... =_= Buying just ONE is really expensive to me =_=... I really envy you T_T

  • Nem egyszerre vettem, és mostanában eléggé változik az USD árfolyam, úgyhogy nem tudom pontosan, nagyjából 50k körül.

  • mennyibe került összesen?

  • They can be bought at theneocube(dot)com. An alpha set costs $30 and I have 8 sets atm.

  • REally ? Where did you get these and how much did you spend ?

  • Soccer ball!

I just bought mine a few days ago. You should make some videos of cool things to do with just the original 216 balls, so I don't feel left out =(

  • music by safri duo

  • They are addictive indeed.. Sometimes I just sit down for a couple of hours and let my imagination loose :)

  • WOAH how much did you spend on all thoes neocubes, and arent they highly addictive to play with XD i only have one but am buying a few more soon
