  • pft best one on one... maybe now but back in the 90's lol nah hed get destroyed

  • and defender.

  • @campersdemise im a melo fan but lol.

  • @COuerr The way he's playing this way is defiantely not backing me up. But if you have a look, his iso/spot up game is the best in the league. But yes, definately not this year though. In fact, far from it.

  • @campersdemise he can play d he just lazy. Yea he aint looking to good but ive seen him have games with 6 + assists and 8+ rebounds so he doing not bad with passing he just gotta get his jumper right again.

  • @COuerr Yeah definately. He seems to be a misfit in New York and in coach D's offence system. Did you watch that one game where he got 1 point? Geez, that was simply appalling. A shame to see him fall considering how good he is cosidering he can get a shot over anyone and is arguably the best in the league down the stretch (best clutch % with shots made with 2 min to go).

  • @campersdemise j lin taking over knicks atm tho he making them all look good but melo been out the last 2 games and stat 3. Stat's brother just died so when he comes back hes going to be kicking fucking ass for his brother and melo just got to get his shot right. They have won the last 3 since they have started J lin & just been Lakers today with out Melo or stat.

  • Offensively, Camerlo is the best. His ability to size up an opponent is second to none. But, all round? That's hard to say. Most likely Kobe. Lebron SHOULD be the best but his post game is still weak, despite being a much superior athelete.

  • @campersdemise ....lebron has a higher career ppg average than kobe and carmelo...lebron has a higher career fg% than kobe and carmelo...

lebron is easily a better scorer than both, and easily a better passer.....and easily a better defender....lebron is 3rd alltime in ppg to mike and wilt, and that is while being an undisputed team player.....lebron puts carmelo to shame offensively...denver is the highest scoring team this year AFTER the ballstopper carmelo left, and the knicks arent even close

  • @shaqpopcorn34 Denver had highest ppg when Carmelo was there..

  • @campersdemise LeBron's postgame this year is way better though, he's not as technical but just backing someone down is the easiest way to score, and lets be honest only the bigs can stop LeBron backing down all the time.

  • the best player in the league is kobe, and one on one no one stops kobe. carmelo isn't even half as good as kobe in the defensive end of the court. and he's fucking 33

  • Damn Barkley was big as a house I'm glad he lost weight he look good now

  • christ, from the round mound of rebound to the round mound of broadcasting.

  • Damn chuck is fuckin fat lmao

  • what the hell guys what he said is true he is the best one on one player, if he is not passing which easy for him he'll shoot or he can post up you guys clearly dont watch nba basketball

  • Kobe is WAY more skilled than any other player today. His footwork is a thing of beauty. Which is why this season, you will see Kobe do most of his damage from the elbow and in the post. If you want to talk skill level, Kobe is easily the best player in the league. But, if your talking natural physical ability, I'd say Wade is number 1. For all you LeBron fans, He is still a freak of nature, but he has shown no improvement in his fundamentals. If he doesn't improve, he won't last in his 30's.

  • @copperintrunk

Are you fucking retarded? Did you just say LeBron is SLOW?

You obviously do not watch the NBA..

LeBron is fucking fast, And Strong.

Kobe's weak ass could not post LeBron up anyday,

  • @iiaMzOxeeeegen wtf?? there is actually a couple of videos of Kobe posting up Lebron

  • @iiaMzOxeeeegen And to help you justify how fast Lebron is.. Lebron is listed at 6'8 255lbs. He runs his 40 in 4.47sec. The fastest TE in the NFL is supposedly Vernon Davis. He is 6'4 240 and runs his 40 in 4.5 to 4.6.. Im just saying, average times for WR and RB (Supposedly the fastest in the game) 4.3. These are just statistics to help you out some. BUT I do agree Kobe is a better 1 on 1 player just because thats his game; Lebron is more like Magic (loves to share).

  • @iiaMzOxeeeegen lebron is fast and strong u got that right, but kobe is also strong and quick, so i do not know why u call kobe weakass, watch some youtube vid on kobe posting up on lebron then start talking

  • @iiaMzOxeeeegen but Kobe's "weak ass" does post Lebron any day. In actuality, Kobe posts' him up everytime they play. That is where Kobe can and does destroy and "merk" Lebron. Pls get ur facts right. You can even look it up here on youtube. just type in "Kobe fadeaway vs Lebron"

  • @iiaMzOxeeeegen did you just call kobe weak? you obviously don't watch the nba.

  • @iiaMzOxeeeegen oh yay search kobe amazing and then tell mw if kobe cant post lebron

  • @iiaMzOxeeeegen KOBE COULD NOT POST UP KOBE?! you are fuckn dumb! KOBE IS A BETTER POST PLAYER THAN LEBRON AND THATS A FACT!

  • Melo is the most versatile offensive player in the nba..kobe is a better player but even he said he would have carmelo on his team rather than anyone...he gives credit, why can't ya'll?

  • @Johnzzz3000 if carmelo is so good, why did the nuggets get better when he left?

  • @marzilyas the nugets got 7 nicks players and 2 players from minnesota they got everything and the kitchen sink they was the ones who was helping amare and the knicks were good at the beginnin of season u jerkoff and the knicks was struggling cuz the stars need to get used to each other

  • @matthewtorres1991 so you're saying that 7 random players are better than melo? i agree, but that's because melo is not a team player. knicks were doing ok, then melo came and their record got worse. basketball is a team sport. the star makes himself part of the team, not the other way around. unless of course that star is not a winner, as Melo is not.

  • @marzilyas u fucking idiot ur being biased ur arguing about ur points and not giving a good point about it they werent 7 random player they was 4 important players that had meshed with amare and had chemistry and 3 other bench players that left their bench decimated it was gallinari chandler felton and mozgov 4 of the best after amare kid so stfu and for ur info melo is the sf with the most game winners in nba looks like a winner to me so again ur wrong

  • @matthewtorres1991 i don't think anyone with a lick of basketball sense would call danillo gallinari, raymond felton, tyson chandler and timofey mozgov (!!!) as "four of the best" of anything unless you are talking about towel spinning. I don't know where you got that info that melo has the most gw's for a sf, but the facts speak for themselves: melo has 9 full seasons of play and has gotten past the first round ONCE.

  • @marzilyas so what youre saying is amare got to the all star break with a record of 30 and 25 ALL BY HIMSELF its not 1 on 5 on the court its 5 on 5 and everyone has said it and i read it in stat sites u dun even need to see or read just watch mel if u been seein him since 03 ud know hes had the most gamewinners in the nba hes been in the knick from feb to may and he alredy had 4 gamewinners lol

  • @matthewtorres1991 amare got that record because he was on a team without ball-hog melo. carmelo better have 4 gamewinners since he's probably shot the last shot in every single tight game he's ever played in. Kobe and Lebron are probably the only two guys in the league who take more clutch shots, but kobe has five rings and Lebron has taken his team to the finals twice. Melo is just a bad leader and ball hog, and the numbers bear it out.

  • @marzilyas and its not tyson chandler its wilson chandler tyson was in mavs they won the championship

  • @matthewtorres1991 yeah, tyson chandler is much better than wilson chandler

  • @matthewtorres1991 i mean 8 seasons, my bad

  • Kobe is the best 1 on 1 player today, Carmelo is a stupendous 1 on 1 player too. I'd give him #2 after kobe.

  • @H0lyPh3n0m Kobe isnt the best at one on one anymore, Melo is a better mid-range, close scorer than Kobe and yes Kobe is better at 3's but Melo is rising there...Melo has better footwork and post up as well...and then you gotta factor in that Melo's crossover is pretty real

  • @rkohulk1 Melo is a great scorer but he isn't a better at med range. Thats where Kobe excels at, past every player ever to play. Melo's footwork is great but again, you can't say he has better footwork than Kobe. Their game offensively mimick eachother. Offensively, their close to each other but in 1 on 1, their are 2 sides to the ball. Defense(one on one, on ball, with no help side). To be the best one on one player, you need to excel at both, which Kobe does, and Melo doesn't.

  • @H0lyPh3n0m One on one typically relates to offense.

Melo would wreck Kobe's old ass any day of the week.

Both in their primes? Kobe hands down.

  • @shadow1dx I am talking about a one on one game. You have to play both sides of the ball excellently well which "kobe's old ass" does better than melo any day of the week

  • @H0lyPh3n0m correction kobe does not play offense better than mel mels taller faster stronger younger what more you want? you want to get embarrassed more?

  • @H0lyPh3n0m Doesn't matter because Kobe's old ass won't be able to stop Melo from posting him up.

  • @shadow1dx Yes Melo is a great post player, and has a wide array in which he can use, but Kobe is also a stupendous defender. One of the best of this era. And he is a fighter(meaning he works hard). If you watch the video /watch?v=QBu28UwDzps you will see when he battles artest, who is much stronger than melo, in the post. Simply put, Kobe doesn't back down no matter what age, that is why his "old ass" is better than 99% of other nba players in their prime.

  • @H0lyPh3n0m You're delusional if you think Kobe stands a chance against a prime Melo. And Melo in the post is so much better than Kobe's post defense that it doesn't matter. Artest is nowhere near the player in the post than Melo is. Melo doesn't even have to back Kobe down considering Melo has 2 inches on Kobe.

And Kobe's defense is so overrated. Nowhere near the defender he was during the Shaq era.

  • @shadow1dx Lol if i'm delusional tell me why carmelo could never get past kobe in the playoffs? Artest isn't a better player in the post, but he is much stronger than melo. If Kobe can fight off Artest, he can(and did) with melo. Do you even know melo's game? Carmelo isn't a back to the basket post player. He's a face up guy. Kobe is a back to the basket post player. So why would he back kobe down?

How can you call him an overrated defender when all the coaches voted him to 1st defensive team?

  • @H0lyPh3n0m Are you stupid? Are you asking why a player couldn't get past a player? You realize basketball is a TEAM game right?

Melo is an excellent post up player. And I mentioned the fact that Melo doesn't have to back Kobe down because Melo has so many other arsenals in the post.

Those defensive team selections are a joke. You're telling me that Lebron James is worthy of 1st Team NBA defense? Just all hype.

  • @shadow1dx I love melo, but Kobe has more post moves than melo right now I can tell you his main post moves... FACE UP JAB STEP THEN JUMPSHOT OR, JAB STEP QUICK ONE TWO STEP AND JUMP SHOT, OR HIS FAST left to right spin move.. KOBE HAS MORE MOVES.!

  • @shadow1dx also their is a clip on youtube with Kobe and Melo duking it out in the post. Melo tries to post up, but Kobe fights for position. I can't find it, but it'd be great to show you, and great for this argument. I don't know if you've ever seen it.

You won't see the same kind of effort emulated by Kobe on the defensive end as Carmelo anthony, that is why Kobe is the better one on one player. He will play both sides of the ball excellentlly well, with max effort. Melo plays one side.

  • @H0lyPh3n0m Melo's money shot is from Mid-Range...no matter the situation...and just compare their post moves, Melo's spin move is way more technical and efficent, he uses the Jab step, Step back, the Step-Over, Up and Under, and he can fade away...unlike Kobe who will just do an up and under, or fade away...and you cant bring Defense into the conversation, what Kenny meant was that Melo is the best 1 on 1 offensive player in the league

  • wtf are u guys stupid?

    we talking 1on 1

    kevin durant=no def on kobe

    melo=no def on kobe

    lebrom=2slow

    wade vs kobe amazing

  • @chopperintrunk i guess you've never heard of michael jordan

  • LOOOOOOL this has to be a joke. u guys have to face it, you may not like kobe, but he is soooooo much better then melo. not to even mention d-rose

  • @fickomatic Melo is the best offensive player in the game right now, get off kobe's dick.

  • @toadboy31 lol dude haha gotta be kidding me right? he is one of the best, not the best. kevin durant is better

  • @fickomatic ARe you kidding me? Kevin durant post up, or just shoots from downtown... QUICKLY

  • @yiprye dude...u gotta be kidding. even lebron is better offensivley..

  • @toadboy31 well said
