  • Very helpful- thank you. Before coming to buddhism I practiced mindfulness- sometimes as short meditations and sometimes just in moment through the day. I noticed when I began to "sit like a buddhist" I constantly felt like I was doing it wrong and got discouraged. I sort of decided to detach a bit from the "buddhist" label when sitting- letting go- and being where I am. It's helped and I'm able to sit without shame and restlessness that I'm failing. Does that make sense?
