CERVELO TOMAHAWK SPRINT TEST! Part 1 (MUST SEE!!!) ''
just a noob question here - Are the Cervelo S-series aero road bikes UCI legal? Do they follow the 3:2 downtube and fork ratio rules in the UCI? looks too thin to be UCI road bike legal to me.
@Bhousm76 Second hand shit is your friend man. The fellas that buy these kinds of really expensive bikes don't usually race em hard and sell em after a season of Sunday morning coffee rides. I got a 1 year old Cannondale Supersix for a grand, perfect condition. The guy that used to own it bought a Pinny Dogma for this year... more money than sense.
yeah..i was looking at cannondales, the lower end caad9 looked nice..but im thinking about going with a gary fisher super rail. i cant find any good cannondale dealers where i live.
@yotozme Because they think there shit don't stink lol. If you want a better value and really in my opinion a better bike, get an addict from scott. scott's new hard tale mtb is a couple grams lighter than this and you can get the top end full bike for a bike more if not the same price point. Never mind their road bikes.
because they are meant to be exclusive. that's just the way it is, much of the cycling community is high society. and you know what? I like it. its the most civilized sport there is.
@yotozme Relax, one day you'll be able to afford one, and by the time you get it, it will be be twice as good. And yea, they're good - my R3 - light, stiff, comfortable. I can't imagine a better bike.
It's actually $9600 for the frameset, including the fork (which is a very special fork I believe). Sure, a lot of money, but you could spend it on something worse, that's for sure. I'll take one please!!
$9600 for just the frame?!? It looks sweet but at that price, it's going to be out of reach for 98% of the racing market. I guess we're just going to have to wait for the technology to trickle down next year to us mere mortals...
But stellar job in what promises to be a fantastic frame.
I cannot WAIT until you guys show up and whoop everyone's butt at the grand tours...GO CERVELO! looking forward to another glorious summer of videos (:

I have a Cervelo RS. It was worth every penny I paid for it.

what good is the bike without the legs. cervelo should start making "pro" legs that average consumer can purchase off the rack.

any bike handmade by american engineers will be better then any mass produced asian frame... we will have to see how the production ones turn out...

all you have to do is stop smoking weed and don't renew your xbox live subscription then you could manage to get one.

@yotozme Because Honda has a greater chance of making a Ferrari priced like a Honda then Ferrari does.
