What is ridiculous about all of this is- that if he had been a married, Episcopal priest in the first place, who wanted to then convert to becoming a Roman Catholic priest- the Roman Church would have gladly have let him come over with his wife/children. So because of this archaic rule demanding celibacy for some priests and not for others- the Church has lost a good man. Congratulations Rome- another stupid, historical mistake made because of a "man made" rule! Time for a change.

If they can't handle it, they should be honest enough to leave seminary instead of lying their way through ordination and then causing scandal. The standard practice is to place a seminarian in the diocese's most liberal parish under a pastor who tries to make his life as miserable as possible. Survivors are few, and the Orthodox and SSPX often gain converts from this practice.

He started it putting Peter as head of the church on earth, and he therefore is the first pope. Its all in there, he didnt come to form millions of religions, just one. 1) The Catholic Church do not consider only the bible as source of Revelation but also the tradition (the Bible comes from the tradition) and also it was written in many languages, in different times for the specific culture each text was written for.
