I will pay you if you can write down on paper what you played here. Or maybe you can use a MIDI device to convert your music into a MIDI file directly form your music keyboard.
@ESP1138 I appreciate your desire to learn to play this music, but I just don't have the time to write it all out. I also don't have any sort of MIDI keyboard; I only have my Steinway. I have Sibelius music software, but it would take days to notate all of the music from the three themes. Like I said, try contacting Joel Goldsmith, the composer. He might have original manuscripts and he could then send you copies of the originals!
Your slow theme is beautiful. Can you give us a sheet music transcription of this? It has never been released by MGM for piano. I really want to play it.
@ESP1138 Unfortunately I didn't use any sheet music for the slow theme or any other theme for that matter... most of it I sounded out from watching the original "Stargate" movie as well as SG-1 but I also improvised a few passages of the music too... No sheet music exists of the theme that I know of, so the best thing I can suggest is to try contacting Joel Goldsmith (the composer) and see if he'll release a piano sheet music set for the Stargate themes! Thanks for watching! -Pianomanfishman
@zuzanka6000 I think what your question is "How did I learn it?"... (Hopefully that's the right question!) All I did was listen to the introduction of the SG-1, the ending, and the opening to the original "Stargate" movie and listen to those themes over and over. I then sat down at the piano, started sounding them out until I blended them together into a medley. If your question is "How can you teach this music?"... I could create a tutorial, but it's a very tricky piece to teach over YouTube.
Hello, you complete guy:) I faninka stargate sg1 .. please where you got the sheet music for stargate sg1 theme? You can send me a link please? thanks
@zuzanka6000 Technically there is no sheet music for this piece. I sounded the entire thing out by ear! There may be a version that I don't know about that involves sheet music, but this version has no sheet music.
I write down the first part (right hand) now there is the left hand.....
It would be hard for me to take it together ;D
