  • OMG these boys are so utterly cute! And funny too. So great to see them being so at ease with each other.

  • @nolketessa i agree specaily with simon's vocal warm up sounds like a call for some animal in the wild *L*

  • "DADDY!":D Love John Forever

  • I really love the way John just keeps talking to Nick like he is used to Simon groping him! It takes a few seconds before he realizes they are on camera and gives him a look to knock it off. And the naughty look and smile on Simon's face kill me.

  • Nick is my favourite duranie, since I remember, but now I'm glad to see Roger in perfect fit!!!!!!! Love you Nick and Roger!!!!

  • OMG that was so funny, I especially liked the part when John mentioned that one day Simon will probably attract a herd of something, I couldn't stop laughing! And Roger's got great legs!

  • They all have great legs. What are you talking about?

  • Yes, they've all got great legs!! :P

  • The Vikings are coming! ROFL!!! That's hilarious!

  • That is so funny about his warm up...I've never heard anything like it. I like the behind the scenes stuff...very cool.

  • I love how Simon warms up! lol

  • From their Toronto show!! I was there!!! The beginning makes me smile and gets me thinking back to that exact moment when they first hit the stage. AAAHHHH memories. lol

  • Nick is such a lovely guy, simon on the other hand is so full of himself!

  • o0o its boot camp Jeffrey. God i love his smile, omg it makes him look 100% sexier, i want to meet him so badly, omg. I want to meet the band so badly!!! I love NICK RHODES!!! I love DURAN DURAN!!!

  • Well I guess if anyone WANTS to post a comment he/she could. We're not controlling THAT aspect of this page. SO have u ever met anybody famous? Ever met any of the Durans? And did u say u have children? What type of music do they listen to?

  • I'm sorry for KweeZuul. I can speak English only a little.

It has not understood how whether to write in the comment.

I am a Japanese Duran Duran and 80's music fan of 26 years now. It apologizes if feelings

    were impaired.

  • Van Halen's LOST WEEKEND contest on MTV, John Cougar's Paint the Mother Pink contest, Mark Goodman, JJ Jackson, Martha Quinn, Alan Hunter, Nina Blackwood, Madonna singing Like A Virgin @ the 1985 MTV awards in a frickin' wedding dress, introduction of the moonwalk, the THRILLER VIDEO! How kool was THAT?! Pat Benetar, Cyndi Lauper, the Sing Blue Silver Documentary!

  • i love these guys so much

  • *Whistles* Nice legs Roger! :)

  • My favorite is Roger, I'm young, so I don't know like everything about DD, but how come Roger is rarely talked about like JT and Simon?

  • This is what I can tell you. DD has been my fave band for 25 yrs & history was written as this: JT & Simon were the faves, the darlings of the band. Nick was 3rd, Roger 4th, Andy pulling last place, kinda like Ringo was in the Beatles. Roger was ALSO very shy back then. He always said if music hadn't worked 4 him he'd have been a mailman. Notice that Andy was concpicuously absent. He's always been the outcast so to speak. Still is.

  • Well, in some interviews I've watched, Simon does seem to be angry at Andy a lot

  • The very 1st time we noticed it was onstage N Atlanta @ the House of Blues N 2002/3 Can't remember. Think it was 2002. Nick shot Andy an evil eye & we were all like "WTF?!" Then shortly after we saw them again, Charlotte, NC, maybe? Again there was friction btwn Nick & Andy. Saw them three more times and u could tell they were NOT getting along. Never noticed Si & Andy, tho.

  • Nick looks amazing and I love his jacket! LOL, Simon's warm up is so funny!

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! =D

  • It's so good to see that drugs & alcohol haven't claimed the lives or looks of these guys! They may not be 20 years old anymore but they still look Divine! [& sound it too!]

  • Why do u think Andy has put on 20 pounds? Excessive drinking. Just one of the reasons things went sour between them. THEN and NOW.

  • Oh, I didn't know that. Well, they Still sound good! I have aLOT of good memories of them. Hope Andy works on his problem & doesn't let it consume him like so many others before him.

  • I couldn't care less if he were 2 feet tall, balding, had three middle fingers and only spoke piglatin. I'd STILL LOVE that FOOL!

  • HaHa! *That's funny. Yeah, I Love him too. They're all so talented & their music puts so much happiness in the world. I glad I didn't grow up in the hiphop/rap generation.

  • How old are you?

  • I'm 41. Yeah, because I was born in the 60's the WHOLE 80's era was REALLY BIG!! God I miss music that's fun & also that means anything. It's nice to come on YT & see the whole revival thing though.

  • Oh, never mind. Got it, I was asking because I was wondering if we grew up with the same musical influences. I have a Duran Duran tat2 that covers my entire right forearm. I wanted to seal my loyalty of 25 years and it spans from my wrist to the crease of my arm. Yeah, I'm so THANKFUL I was born B4 that whole hiphop/rap thing!

  • WOW! Now that's Loyalty!! Haven't gone the tatto route but I might someday.

  • Those were the days for sure. Thompson Twins, DD, Howard Jones, John Hughes movies, Adam Ant, Prince, ABC, Men At Work, etc... And of course MTV and Friday Night Videos. Music videos that had MUSIC in them! Imagine THAT! SNL when it was FUNNY. Eddie Murphy, Billy Crystal, Father Sarducci, Chevy Chase...

Pac Man, Rubik's Cube. Remember "Paint the Mother Pink?"

  • MAN! You're REALLY going down Memory Lane here! Yeah, & don't forget John Cougar, Madonna, Quiet Riot, & I LOVED Anita Baker [Sweet Love] Boy George, Van Halen, Journey as well as Rick Springfield. Remember when going rollar skating was considerd the Coolest Thing! God I miss those days so Very, Very Much!!

  • I used 2 roller skate EVERY weekend. They'd play Kool & the Gang, Chic, M's Pop Music, Gary Numan's Cars, & whatever else the DJ could dig up. I had the most retared skates, but @ the time I thought they were cool. They were tennis shoe skates. The REAL skaters had black speed skates! I was & still am a HUGE Culture Club fan. Fast Times @ Ridgemont High, Breakfast Club, 16 Candles, Pretty In Pink, Some Kind of Wonderful...

  • Haha! Ok, I LOVED Stray Cats, Simple Minds, Naked Eyes, JGiles, The Fixx, Soft Cell, Devo, Der Kommissar, Eddie Money, Golden Earring, Dexy's Midnight Runners, The Eurythmics & multiple plastic beads, lace gloves [or any indoor gloves] with rhinestone braclets! [As well as big plasic gaudy earrings ;) ]

  • I loved all that music as well...Flock of Seagulls, The Cure, The Cult, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Bauhaus, David Bowie, B-52s, U2, Paul Young, INXS, Psychedelic Furs, Roxy Music, Billy Idol, The Police, etc...Only I opted for the black clothing, black nail polish, Robert Smith hair and Rosary Beads a million! I was THIS CLOSE to going to Live Aid and then we had a family emergency so my aunt couldn't take me. Talk about UPSET!

  • Let's not forget Asia, Billy Squire, Joan Jett [& The Blackhearts, later dropping the Blackhearts] Kim Carnes, Wang Chung & even Olivia Newton John [Let's Get Physical] & Deff Leppard put on one of the Coolest Shows Ever, which I did get to go to, miracles of miricles in Rochester, Ny. Did you ever get to make up for not going to 'Live Aid?'

  • Okay..Nik Kershaw, Hall&Oates, Dead or Alive, Oingo Boingo, the Alarm, Love&Rockets, Rod Stewart, Frankie Goes 2 Hollywood, Bananarama, the GoGos...No, I never got over missing Live Aid & I never will. The only thing I can say about that is this: I've met everyone N Duran, I've met all the Rolling Stones (Keith is a sweetheart) & now I feel as though I can die a happy & content person. U live N NY?

  • No, I used to live there from 80-82 before moving out of state. I DO remember this paricular preacher from this church making a remark about, 'All the Young People dancing in the Street, Spinning on their Heads!! in reference to break dancing. Now, that remark sounds so funny as he was genuinely upset!! The Song frm Queen 'Another 1 Bites The Dust was cool too!

  • I'm a big Queen fan. Under Pressure w/Bowie is my fave Q song. So who are your top 5 artists from the 80s? And having been in NY you HAD to have caught some kool performances. Like at club gigs or something? CBGBs shows? Wasn't Studio 54 still around then? The lame version I know after Rubell went to jail, but did u ever go there?

  • Actually, I have to admit that I lived in Upstate, Ny at the time so I lived a good 8hrs at least from the City itself. We lived about 2 hours from the Canadian border. Yeah, it was a BIG DEAL to go anywhere or see ANYHTHING! lol! We were basically country people but my parents worked in Rochester. For 2 years straight I couldn't eat any apples cause we were SURROUNDED by them!!

  • What do U do now? & who would u say R your top 5 80s artists? They don't have 2BN order, unless that's something u can do. I fluctuate daily, sometimes hourly, btwn Duran & The Stones being my 2 faves. (Although Stones aren't an 80s band) They're my mainstays. If u look btwn 4:30-34 Roger has his trousers off!

  • What do I do? Waste Time on YT! haha! No, seriously. It's so hard to say what my favs are because different songs mean different things all thru my life. I think the 80's was a REAL celebration of LIFE with it's LOUD BRIGHT colors & funky hairstyles. [Yes, I wore the prerequisite short, gelled hair on the sides, puffed up on top, & long in the back & so help me, we all thought it was cool!] I miss the optimism with the energy & I hope it makes a revival somehow.

  • Well I can TELL you waste time on YT b/c it seems as though every time I'M on here, YOU'RE on here. So I guess that's what i do TOO! I agree, the 80s was time that was full of exploration and wonder, excitement and energy. Miss those days SO much. I was more into the black clothing and "new wave-goth" style. Taking cues from RObert Smith and Siouxsie. Still, do, actually! LOL

  • haha! Yeah, I notice every time I come here, We're the ones doing all the talking. Visited your site & saw all the cool vids tho haven't had time to watch them all. No ONE would want to see all mine as I have over 100 of them!! I just LOVE this YT thing where for just a little while you can recapture the BEST of the past & share it with people. The DIE hard fans are the coolest I've noticed & the funniest!

  • I think we ran everybody off...I'm sure picorhythm is none too pleased. I'm a big Stones fan and most of the vids are Keith Richards items. I'm hoping to throw some vids on here myself. Lots of eighties stuff to contribute that I haven't seen posted by anyone else. Just haven't had the inclination to do it yet. Yeah, I'll get on here and stay for HOURS watching old kool stuff. My friends tell me to get a life but they're all about MYSPACE, so what's the difference with me and YT?!

  • Picorhythm? Looked for him in the comments & didn't see him. Yeah, MySpace is so overrated. YT is FAR more entertaining! You should put up some videos & esp if no one else has done it yet.I'm SUCH an ADDICT I notice as soon as I get home from work, I'm on this thing!! Like an drug addict....JUST GOTTA HAVIT!! lol! [startin to get pathetic, I know]

  • Picorhythm is the cat who posted this video, the channel we seem 2B monopolyzing! I'm gonna post some vids when I get the time. DD on SNL WAY BACK WHEN, PowerStation vids, other interviews I haven't see on YT... I don't work b/c it interferes w/my social life, but then again, more & more YT seems 2B my social life, so maybe I don't have 1 after all! What's the caled2care stand 4? What type of work do u do? I'm a failed musician so I just sit around my house and play DD tunes on my guitare...

  • Oh! Durrr! haha!! I didn't even LOOK to see WHO posted the Vid!! How pathetic is that? I work too much. Well, I worked with the elderly for 12 years I took care of people's kids for 6 years & I have faith that we are all 'Called To Care For One Another By God. But of course most people don't belive that as it goes against popular culture & human nature.

  • Drug..it's just a state of mind!

  • I'll go out for a beer with DD !! then i'll ask them to give me all the copy of their early concert.I want to see the Rum Runner era!

  • I LOOOOVE DURAN DURAN.

  • Aw i love johnny<33

  • They're not drunk, just depraved. Look it up.

  • Hey, let's not neglect Nick. He gets such little attention as it is, with JT and Si getting all the attention for so many years, but Nick is the most charismatic as seen here. And he is aging so beautifully. Where is the Nick love??? Am I the only one who likes him???

  • I've got the massive Nick love, right here. He's beautiful like nothing else. I mean, yes, so are the rest of them, really, but Nick is, well, I'd like to put him in my pocket and carry him around with me all day!

  • No,don't worry.I love him too.He is amazing.

  • Ahh Simon i'll warm your vocal chords up ...with my tongue lol bein serious i love it when i see te guys having a laff tog its great i love you duran

  • lol on where the domination started. Simon was very wierd with the warm-up and I really did believe that Simon and John were drunk!

  • this was such a GREAT tour. they are as good, if not better, than they were 20 years ago.

  • JT and Simon r wasted...SEX DRUGS N ROCK n ROLL...PARTY ON

  • It's great to actually hear Roger get so chatty.

Also, the Simon warm-up, um, ok, as long as it does the trick!
