Jeep WJ with flowmaster 44 Before and After

I'm looking for a few cheaper preformance upgrades. Did that ONLY affect the sound or did it increase power and gas milage at all?  I'm hoping to get nothing more than maybe 30 hp, but something like 10-12 miles to the gallon increased on my inline 6 4.0l would be nice. Any suggestions besides a cold air intake, new exhaust system?

@StraighttupEV yeah just a muffler and tip then after the vids i added a hi-flo cat witch helped the sound a bit

Hmm..i have an 02 limited with the 4.7l..and mine sounds like your flowmasters stock..are u running a 4.0l?..Im thinking of running duals on it with flowmaster or cherry bomb.

tranny was going, random missfiring, it was slow, engine light was on with 3 codes (which were fixed), and oh yea it was a wreck magnet haha

Haha i had a Gmc jimmy like that it got wreaked alot iam sorry your jeep wasnt good to u idk y i have a 2000 wj with 171,000 miles on it and it still runs good

it cost me 100 dollars at autozone and the body shop guy put it on free when he was fixing the jeep after i hit some lady

my xj has a super 44 and its nice, a little raspy... although 10 million times better than my wj 4.0 stock.... it sounds like a vacuum cleaner

the welds are good, its just the fact that its a very aggressive muffler with no resonators or things like that, plus i have a hi flow cat, check out my vid
