Prue and Piper are thrown to the wall but Leo heals them! and then they are exposed to the world which then leads to piper being shot. then near the end when the time hurls backwards to them on the floor, Leo only heals piper so that she won't get shot in the future again. sorry if I don't make sence :) but I think Shannen Doherty wasn't sure if she was leaving the show before this episode was fully made so they just made her death wi

No one really knows the real reason that Shannen Doherty (prue) left the show.

Shannen says that she left because no one cared about their work.

The producer said that shannen left the show because she was too hard to work with and

Alyssa (phoebe) says that shannen left the show because prue argued with everyone.

So none of us will ever know the real reason. It is only them that will ever know the truth.

The only reason why Prue doesn't come back as a ghost like Grams and Patty is because Shannen (Prue) didn't want to be involved with Charmed anymore. She quit the show on her own accord.

okay so I've always been confused about something. Prue dies yadayada yada, and honestly, I didn't really like her character so I wasn't all that torn up about it but what I don't understand is why they can summon every other family member back from the "other" side, but they can't summon Prue they never, that I know, summoned her spirit, even when they had the WHOLE Halliwell line come to Wyatts wiccaning. does anybody know why they never summonded her??

@lilMissAdoria It's because the actress that plays Prue(Shannon Doherty) was supposedly an asshole, she got into an arguement with Alyssa Milano...and gave the WB an ultimadium either Alyssa goes or she would leave the show. The cast decided that Alyssa was easier to work with so they let Shannon go. She must have been to proud to ever come back on the show even as her ghost. I loved Prue, more than Paige but sadly actresses have Ego's bigger than their talent. Oh well =P

@lilMissAdoria lol sweety. they had no choice to make it like that. of course there could have been a way to save prue, BUT she had to resign as she had problems with alyssa milano and the network had to let her go. so that's really why she "died". they had to think of something, even though it was unrealistic and inconsistent with the show. and it was hard having prue not there if u've watched the show from the very beginning, u can understand why prue is loveable and an asset.

I would guess originally when they made this show the decision for Shannen to leave had not been made yet so the writers had to turn this into a death scene they might have originally planned for her to survive the attack the next season.

@krazykattmakeup55 In the next episode, they find paige. Their mom`s ghost tells them about her. Phoebe was in the underworld when Prue died, giving a potion to cole. Leo could save both because piper was alive, but prue wasn`t, does that help?
