yeah man i dont see why youre choosing such a roundabout way to get the last gold coin on the pillar. I would have put that first, in the golds section, because its pretty straight forward (at least on n64). you just drive straight onto the ramp the use ur wings to straighten up a bit before hitting the pillar. its the easiest gold coin on the n64 one
Yeah, it looks silly now, but it just doesn't work that easy way on the Dreamcast for some reason. The car always bounces away from the pillar. Apparently the cars react differently in certain circumstances in the 2 versions...
coin on the pillar... If it's the one at 3:25, yeah. I mentioned under the previous comment that that one is harder to do on the N64 version because the car doesn't hit the jump as smoothly as it does on the Dreamcast version. No idea why.
Maybe you have MIRROR on? (0:10) Anyway, yeah that's a tough coin. You need to watch your speed when you hit the jump. And if I remember right, it's a little harder on the N64 version because for some reason the car reacts differently when hitting an instant incline like that.
ALL you nee to do is drive stright at it, at a stedy pace, and you will hit the piller and drive up it and get the coin. it was one of the first I got
ok i have a better explanation for this, start at the wall with the dickies poster, facing the piller an floor it. you arent far from the piller, so you wont go too fast.
you can do the last one way easyer

What's the diffrence on the wings? O.o (I don't play this becuase I lack the Game Pak, but I wish to know please) :D?

@BurningTireCP
Small wings let you spin fast but glide less.
Large wings glide far but spin slow.
Stunt wings (only available in Stunt mode) are the best of both...Glide far and spin fast...

So you need to collect all the coins to get another stage...??? I'm guessing so.
Zephyrus34 4 years ago
No. The coins just unlock new cars.
Accumulating points from doing Stunts will unlock the stages.
When you get to 100,000 total points, it unlocks this 2nd stunt track. At 250,000 it unlocks the 3rd, then 500,000 for the 4th.
Then at 1 million points, you get the obstacle course.
