I think the reboot is a good idea. Because whenever i started reading a particular comic i had know idea what was going on in the story now that they're starting from scratch i'll know everything.
this might sounds stupid, and I don't know if anyone else cares... but what about the batman beyond arch of stories. I have the hush 6 and I'm wanting for the trade for volume 4. I've loved batman beyond since the cartoon show (all of which I own on dvd). Does anyone know the future of these books at DC?
DC had one thing no one else could boast of.75 years of unbroken publishing history w/ Action,the one that started the format. It should never be cancelled or restarted. Nor should Detective. Relaunches of origins and concepts have happened before, but that stream of tradition and history was pristine. That's gone now, and it's sad. There's no real reason to do that. It doen't translate into new readers. It's just ego-driven. The "creators" can claim they killed Action and Tec # 1. Congrats.
Well, we are going to have a lot of sells for the first months and then a lot of titles will dissappear. It is normal it has happened every now and them, I think the last time this happened was on the middle 80s. I just hope they don't screw it this time with criss that just mix everything up. Personally I find Batgirl as a boring character, Oracle was far better.

ARIDIAN SYAF did a page for my horror comic TERRORKLOWNS which is at indyplanet . com . it's the openning page. It's great to see him move up in his career.
I've already put in an order for all 52 issues with Forbidden Planet, cost my just over £120, and it will satisfy me for months. I'm glad they're going with Blue Beetle, Animal Man and Batwoman, because I've been reading a lot of those recently.

@Ladydarklaughs You could always read a synopsis of what happened on wikipedia or something, and if it sounds interesting you can go back and pick it up. I've only been reading since 2004 and Final Crisis made complete sense to me.
I'm buying digital already on the titles I follow, for space sake.I don't have the room for constantly adding new booklets. And frankly, it's better to buy then digitally than torrenting them don't you think?

As I'm living in Sweden and my city dont have a comicbook store that sells monthly issues, and so far I have bought the collected verisons and Omnibuses this is awesome for me I can finaly get the story issues by issues ^^ !!

cant wait for the dc reboot. i used to just buy all the graphic novels but i wanna get into collecting single issues.
im planning on getting:
Action Comics, Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Green Lantern Corps, Hawkman and Demon Knights.
though i have to say that animal man, swamp thing and omac i may also pick up.
What is everyone else picking up?

A big difference between buying digital and printed issues is the printed issues may fetch some big money a year or few down the road.

Gee, I didn't know that DC's market share had shrunk to 20%. Back before Final Crisis, DC was around 40%.
