  • This music is actually emotional, like classical. Don't get that much these days

  • now i can die in peace

  • seeing them live in may, I may die from awesomeness guys!

  • In the year 2012, we didnt have flying cars....we had Tosin Abasi \m/ \m/

  • It's like listening to classical.

  • This son gmakes me want to twist satans nipples while shout unholy oaths to nordic gods.

  • Tempting time? This shit tempts God himself.....

  • If I had a vagoo, it would tingle...and moist

  • 2:52 how do you even do this shit????

  • Devin owning a dude below.......

  • Only Maynard James Keenan can do vocals on this!

  • If you LOVE AAL you will LOVE BULB by MISHA check him out AAL and BULB FOREVER!!!!!!!<3333333333333333333333333333333333

  • Proper order.

  • When I listen to AAL I wanna play final fantasy

  • @TheAmericanFook its always made me wanna play super smash bros melee

  • @CrackedStyle To each is own :)

  • I could listen to that solo all day long...

  • this song created a huge mosh pit, it was ridiculous. These guys are amazing live; I suggest that, if you get a chance to see them, see them! It's worth the money!

  • @NapalmTOX Yeah I was going to see them with Between the Buried and Me and TesseracT but my friend couldnt go :/

  • @adtr094

This happened to me. So i just went on my own. Best experience of my life.

  • @adtr094 Fuck friends holding you back, I would have gone alone. No offense to the friend.

  • @adtr094 Wow. You missed out. I went to an ABR concert a few weeks ago. I was alone and a state away. In retrospect, I'm glad nobody wanted to go with me.

  • @adtr094 Who gives a shit if your "friend" couldn't go. I'd fly solo to see a band like this. You missed a great fucking show.

  • @NapalmTOX Will see them live in april. Can't wait!

  • Will they always be instrumental

  • @trailbill93 I hope so. I believe vocals would ruin them personally.

  • @adtr094 bands like animals as leaders should never have vocalists. the music speaks for itself.

  • @adtr094 If they added that modern screamy type of vocals to it or in fact any type of vocals I think it would compromise the originality of the music. He creates so many great harmonic textures with just the two guitars I don't think theres any space for another harmonic instrument.

  • @adtr094 i dunno if they had vocals like Cynic for 1 album would be cool

  • @adtr094 God imagine if someone added asking-alexandria style clean vocals over the top, I'd have to murder some rabbits to vent my frustration

  • @trailbill93 Thats what tosin said

  • @trailbill93 You don't have to have vocals to have a very moving song. I know most people relate best to vocals but in all honesty, great music utilizes all the instruments in the ensemble.

  • All I can figure out time signature wise on this song is the part at 3:12 i'm pretty sure is a bar of 3/4 followed by 3 bars of 4/4

  • @killerocha i think youre right

  • what time signature(s)!!!!?????

  • @ImaFez Um I honestly don't know but I am sure you can find it on some tab website if that helps :)

  • @ImaFez Pi Divided by Infinity.

  • @celark lol....

  • @celark infinity divided by zero

  • @ImaFez

(Start - 0:23) Three bars of 19/16 and one bar of 23/16 (4/4 and 7/16). Then it goes back to three bars of 19/16 followed by one bar of 6/4.

    (0:23 - 1:06) 4/4, 3/4, 5/8, 4/4, 3/4, 7/8, 4/4, 3/4, 7/8, 9/8, 5/4. (sequence repeats once)

    (1:06 - 1:42) Two bars of 4, one of 3.

    (1:42 - 1:58) 6/8 (triplet feel).

    (2:02 - 2:51) 5/8.

    (2:51 - 4:11) One bar of 4, one of 7/8.

    (4:11 - end) 5/8.

  • @JamalFunnypic whys that flagged as spam? just answerin peoples question

  • You don't own this song, but Tosin totally pwns this song.

  • @facedspaced I agree, have you listened to the new album? I believe it out does this album in my opinion :)

  • @adtr094 (I was being clever, or so I thought ;-) ) Yeah, I bought it the day it came out.. I'm still letting it sink in, have only listened probably 5 or 6x.. I like the first more right now.. but Weightless is growing on me.. there's a lot to digest there.

  • @facedspaced Yeah I would have to agree. The self-titled is much more flourishing and solo-esque while the new album just has a better overall sound. And Javier Reyes their rhythm guitarist is much more noticeable in this album than the last. Although Tosin is lead and his credit is due Javier is a great guitarist as well. I also find the newer album much more accessible. I felt that I could only really listen to the self-titled when I was in a certain mood. What do you think?

  • @adtr094 I *LOVE* that Javier and Navene got to record their own parts on this one. Their influence definitely comes through in a good way. I could listen to the first album whenever, trying to work out, relaxing, playing video games, at work, wherever. I really haven't spent enough time listening to the new one to give it a fair critique, safe to say I love it though.

  • Never loud enough!

  • kinda quiet...

  • I AM AN ANIMAL!

  • Absolutely amazing. Thank you AAL for this glorious album.

  • Man ... All year I'm looking forward to the gig in amsterdam ... And when its finally there I'm too fucking broke to go..... RHAAAAAA

  • how did u get the song tho

  • @Superguitarplayer90 Hmmmm....I wonder, lets see....maybe he bought it?Downloaded it?

  • First! Amazing song :D Tosin is THE MAN.
