I'm sorry but this (some call them wolverines) is a trendy exercise that a lot of kids in their 20's do in the gym to impress fat chicks. Stick to the free weights people. These just make you swing your back like this guy and make you look like a tool.
Nope, this is for your lower pecs. You are right though that his upper body and back should remain still, poor form. Done correctly (holding in the middle for a couple of seconds) these are very effective at defining your lower pecs, especially in the middle
Ehm, no... Decline bench presses hits (mainly) pectoralis major, sternal area. So do high pulley cable crossovers. Incline bench presses hits (mainly) the clavicular head of pectoralis major, and so do low pulley cable crossovers. in other words: pressing downward (decline and high pulley's) is for lower chest. pressing upward (incline and low pulley's) is for upper chest.
