Striped Bass Fishing with Live Herring

I got keepers this past new yrs day and eve on live ATLANTIC herring. Perfectly legal.

You hook them through the back of the neck,and use a fish finding rig.

i got a 51lbs stripe bass which was 48 inches. i was on a fishing charter at gay head, which is near marthards vineyard. man it was huge. i have the picture of me with it framed in my bedroom. it was a fish of a life time. people got 62-69lbs bass before.

its 2 fish one of which must be 28 inches and you may keep a second striper if its 40 inches plus

california fishing laws state " all striped bass under 18" must be released" also the number to posess is only 2

in NY you're only allowed 1 per person i believe im not too sure on size limit cus i've only caught like 15+ pound fish never had small ones b4 but diamond jiggin for striped bass is one of the best
