I don't agree with much of the flavour of this doc. I think in any investigation there can be assumptions and then building up upon those assumptions. Many people who have never listened to any lecture or read any book of Manly P. Hall's will jump to conclusions (based on similar videos) of him being part of some dark conspiracy. I've read some half quoted paragraphs on "Christian sites" which try to make it sound like he was worshipping Lucifer ... their half-quote is misleading and dishonest.

Essentially Hall's idea was that the raw unguided energy within humans needs to be guided and converted into a higher level (or it easily leads to greed, lust for power and control and violence ... which is how many powerful people act today). It is not Satanism or "worship of Lucifer" (also Satan being Lucifer is a misunderstanding of the original terms ... even the original philosophical concept of Satan as a "tester" is missed by many Christians today).

Hall knew about the Freemasonic aspect of the developments in the "New World" as linked to an idea of a New Atlantis ... his book "The Secret Destiny of America" goes into this. There's indication that in some Native American myths, they were waiting for the return of certain gods (perhaps myths planted by priests of Atlantis after catastrophe?) ... The Aztec king mistook the cross-bearing (symbol of Atlantis) Spaniards as that return but were wrong.

However, it seems to me even though some people may have had seemingly great ideas of a New Atlantis, the instigation of this idea since the 1600's has been ethically poorly done (such as the treatment of native Americans) and has been infiltrated by greed and corruption. There seemed to be fighting for control by Banking Families (even leading to some US president assassinations who blocked Central banks). Alleged noble plans may have become corrupted by various groups greedy schemes

part6... There is suspicion of certain members inside Freemasonry (or any group). Groups can have small unofficial subgroups inside them. I'm not sure if Masonry on some official level has become corrupted but one quote from Manly P. Hall's talk on 'white,grey, black magick makes me wonder: He said 'he knew someone who joined a group that turned out to not be what it should be but when he tried to resign, he was told he would be "magickally destroyed". Maybe Hall was talking about himself?

I have this suspicion that he was talking about himself when he talked about 'a certain person who was told they would be "magically destroyed" if he tried to leave or resign from a certain "organization" - he then said "he survived it , but it was a bad time for a while". He was given the 33 degree title but didn't join Masonry in the usual way.
