Eric Singer is a stronger technical drummer than Peter. The best drummer was Eric Carr (RIP ERIC!) becuase he was one off us. A FAN First, then a musician. Peter's background was in Jazz (Taught by Gene Krupa). Peter has his place. But Eric just got off tour with Alice Cooper, Played with Black Sabbath, Badlands, Gary Moore, Lita Ford and KISS. We see them tonight in Halifax and cannot wait. Eric Singer is a great drummer although not an original member, He still is a FULL member of KISS.

In 2000, Gene Simmons purchased the rights to Paul Stanley and Tommy Thayer's souls, and has had them in human bondage ever since. They sound pretty good on this track don't they? It's all Gene's mind control. Every time Eric Singer hits his drum, Gene gets a 1/25 of a penny.

I was at this show, and youtube doesn't really capture the sound all that well. And this concert is infinitely better than any I've been to, or that the people I went with have been to, in a long time. Tommy was scorching on Shock Me.

I don't understand why you people call these solo's...a guitarist plays a few licks by himself and you call it a solo...A drummer keeps the rhythm and you call it a solo....I don't want to give you the wrong idea, KISS is my favorite band...but please, these aren't solo's.
u have to realise that kiss is glam metal (and imo the best in this category^^) the guitar parts in most of the songs, must bee the same...u cant expect from a new different guitarist to create by his own and the rest of the else keeep their style. in glam metal u keep every song in the way it goes.. every part is restrict in its melody. u cant change it just cause u dont want to be like the previous guitarist. i am sure that tommy is upset with this too.. but i bet he knew it before he come xD

Fuck guys its always been paul and gene. Lets be thankful for this band being around. I get to see kiss live and ace. Peter is way to old to play.
Some kiss fans are jerks and unthankful. Im thankful for the main voices in kiss continuing.

i think KISS should quit it now, and im not trying to sound mean, im a HUGE kiss fan, but either take tommy and eric outta the make up, since its not theirs, or get the real peter and ace. im so sick of seeing "ace and peter" up there not sounding like the real KISS.

POBOXFU is right. it was Ace and Peter's choice to leave. Ace said "put Tommy in my makeup and have fun. i wanna go solo" and they always ask Ace if he would like to tour and he always says "no" Tommy and Eric are great. so leave KISS alone

I saw them in Oberhausen/Germany in May, that was far better. It was one of the best concerts of the last years.

Eric is a great drummer but something is up with him here - definitely not up to his usual standards. He was off all day in Melbourne though, getting snappy with fans etc.

The tone on tommys guitar sounds like shit. Hes alrite though. I think KISS would kick ass w/ Gene,Paul,Eric and Ace.Forget Peter Criss hes done Eric is way better.

I don't understand why you people call these solo's...a guitarist plays a few licks by himself and you call it a solo...A drummer keeps the rhythm and you call it a solo....I don't want to give you the wrong idea, KISS is my favorite band...but please, these aren't solo's.

u have to realise that kiss is glam metal (and imo the best in this category^^) the guitar parts in most of the songs, must bee the same...u cant expect from a new different guitarist to create by his own and the rest of the else keeep their style. in glam metal u keep every song in the way it goes.. every part is restrict in its melody. u cant change it just cause u dont want to be like the previous guitarist. i am sure that tommy is upset with this too.. but i bet he knew it before he come xD

if u say that he plays Ace's guitar parts.. that means it is cool to have a 2ond ace ^^ (if we consider that ace plays bettr guitar than tommy). but every guitarist has his style, and if u consider tommy plays ace's parts as him..is like u are saying that ace is too common guitarist, or he is too untalented that everyone like tommy can coppy him.:) look..both play guitar very good..but i am saying this. with ace u have 1 chance out of 10 to see good performance.with tommy,u have 10 to 10 :D

He didn't "steal" it. Gene and Paul own the the images and likenesses of the Spaceman and Catman. Tommy just put on the makeup that his employers (Gene and Paul) required him to.

This is no longer KISS, it is SHIT. Fuck Paul & Gene...and fuck those scabs, Thayer & Singer. I and millions of other true KISS fans can never forgive what Gene & Paul have done. It should have ended in 2000 with all original four, and in NY city. What a fucking lie and scam these fuckers have done. Fuck Gene & Paul. Ace & Peter are now KISS in my mind.

If you were a real kiss fan you would respect their decision to kick out Ace and Peter so they could still go on to play for the fans for a few more decades. if they didn't kick peter and ace kiss wouldn't be still playing, they would have been dragged down by them and would've had to quit kiss long ago.

the saddest thing is, and im a huge kiss fan, that i would rather go watch ace frehley do a solo concert, or paul do a solo concert. i saw kiss last summer and it was eric and tommy, and i like them, but i want the ORIGINAL LINE UP BACKK!!!! :(

idk, i think i want to see ace and tommy just to say i saw the magic of the original 4. I love tommy and eric. They were the first lineup i heard from kiss. So it's thanks to them i even listen to the band.
