@sithxnew -.- You make it... If its not there... So desktop right click NEW FOLDER name it ROMs and than a GBA folder and than place GBA folder in it and the BIOS in the GBA folder...

P.S. I fired my ipod touch. My guess is it overworked circuits. It sparked and I freaked so it dropped. Im gona take it back to apple for a new one when I cam, I can't tell p.a.r.e.n.t.s...

for further notice there is a sinful iphone repo you can use to get this stuff without my anoyying process. I will keep it up though if you have problems with the repo like I have.

delet it fomr you ipod and get it from the sinful iphone repo (search it on youtube until I make a video)

mine doesnt work, whenever i open my apps folder and click it, it just returns me to the home screen instantly.

I changed the bios file and everything....

Could it be because i turned off my SSH program on the comp before i respringed my ipod?

chek to see if the bios file is wirte, in the 2 folders and its properties are 0755

I had the same problem as

urbanfiasc0, when i go to open the app it starts to load but then backs out to the home screen, I bought it on cydia a few days ago before i new cracking it was possible but my payment nver cleared... could this be the reson for my error, if so, do you know of any way to fix it??

@Thegreatowl92 dlete the folder and shiet, add the sinful iphone repo and install it from them. Unless you want to search your iphone . ipod touch for a while to delete liek 2 files 0,0...

sadly you have to guess,but after 10 minutes check the var/stash/Applications folder to see if there is a gpsphone.app folder. If so than the process is finished and you must add a gba_bios to that folder if one is not there with 0755 properties.

for ppl who are having trouble wit the step 10, i tried like 20 times and finally rebooted the iphone and restarted the winscp, then i used dpkg -i /tmp/gpsPhone_6[1].0.5.deb and it finally worked yaaaay. great work to let us hack the gpsiphone instead of a mandatory purchase through cydia.

Ah. So if the icon is on your phone, would that be a good sign that it is done? I installed it, but I go to load a ROM and it goes white screen, so I don't know if it installed correctly(or completely).

You might be looking in the wrong directory as their are several applications folder. To find the correct one you must launch ssh double click the ... option at the top than go to stash and the application.pwn folder will be there. If not just use the application folder that is there.

I know what your problem is! The code you entered is wrong. You have to take the . off the end to make it this:

dpkg -i /tmp/gpsPhone_6[1].0.5.deb instead of

dpkg -i /tmp/gpsPhone_6[1].0.5.deb.

Because your device is telling you the steps and retartdidly does not tell us when it's done. It may be a block from ZODttd to confuse us.

Well conviently after the first cracking video for the gpsphone(by me) was released xsellize released the 6.10 crack for this app from Cydia. I've goten errors using xsellize before so use at your own risk!

Everyone keep in mind I have not tested this for the 1st gen ipod so use at your own risk. Also This works for iPhone 2g,3g and most likeley 3gs. The 1g Im not sure about. And because I dont have mac youll need a different method of sshing

Okay re openssh and delete the current gpsphone you have on your ipod touch in (/var/stash/Applications.pwn) but that is all you delete than repeat 9+10 without checking for a bios afterwards

figured it out, it was the second .deb, it messed me up, i deleted it and now it works fine, maybe it didnt work the first time because i had to extract the download due to win.rar, just a possibility....

You mispelled it. dpkg -i /tmp/gpsPhone_6[1].0.5.deb.deb is the correct spelling, You are missing the space after dpkgi and its a - not a . (after) In gpsphone the second P is capital. And there is no space between .deb.deb If this doesnt work after take off a .deb
