ummm well the violin is in the key of C and so is a piano along with the marimba. So you can read the piano sheet music and play it on a violin and it will sound just fine

Yeah, Yiruma does play parts of it fast. But he also plays parts of it slower. It's called "rubato". Speeding up and slowing down a piece adds emotion to it. I'm just saying that they played it pretty quickly the whole way through, it lost a lot of it's nuances because of it.

Thanks for the quick music lesson. If i wasn't a music major i may have learned something. What I'm saying, is that Yiruma played most of the song at a fast tempo, you cant expect a marimba to change tempo the same way a piano can. But I'm sure you already knew that. If they played the whole thing slow, the marimbas tones would have melted together. :D
