Branding Sonu as a bollywood singer itself is just playing him down! If you are a Sonu fan, you might know that he has so much reduced singing routine bollywood songs and has been collaborating with classical, ghazal, western artists. He even released an album in Kannada recently, and yes, there is "Classically mild" too. He is no mere bollywood singer anymore!

Sonu Nigam is Sonu Nigam and he should stick to being Sonu Nigam. No matter how good a singer you are NOBODY can replace MJ.
But since this was a tribute then it wasn't too bad.
