I won the parent lottery. When I was about 10, dad woke me one Saturday morning and we went to the store and got a basketball goal and backboard for this kid in the neighborhood who just had a mom. Dad installed it and we played some hoops.

He was really an incredible example, too. I bet yours are just like that, too, Max!

Thankfully, if you turn off your door light they stop coming. Seriously, in this neighborhood they give out so much candy, On Ridge the people who live there spend $300 or more on candy. I spend about $75 because we get the leftovers. Plus, since I'm not sawing my leg anymore that should cut down.
