hi, i have one RHODES KBS 7024 THE SUPERSONIC STUDENT, and i want to sell it, i live in queretaro mexico mi phone is 4422-132514 would you like buy me this, vintage? call me please
Here's a quick way to test a Rhodes pickup in a Rhodes with the standard three parallel pickup arrangement. Most Rhodes pickups have an 80Ohm impedance. Use an ohm meter with leads on either side of the group of three parallel pickups. If all 3 pickups are good it should read 60Ohm, if a pickup is dead the meter will read 90Ohm (if two are dead 180Ohm). No soldering involved: )
@b2112g: How can you tell which three pickups are linked in parallel? Is it clear in looking at the wiring? I've had trouble in identifying groups of three from watching him work on the pickups in these videos.

On a couple of my lower keys, I her that metal clanking sound, just like in the video. Is it the tine hitting the tonebar? And Ideas?

You know how to fix that bad boy? You ever worked on a Yamaha CS-80? Curious.
