Not ALL clear stamps are the same. Cheap quality are made from Acrylic (which are molded)
Good quality clear stamps are made from PHOTOPOLYMER (which are CURED by UV) and should not require you to roughen the surface. Please could you check facts before giving information, as this could ruin some stamps. Thanks.
GREAT Tutorial!! Learn something new everyday..I was about ready to pitch my clear stamps as I just couldn't get a nice, CLEAR impression. Will give this a try first...my stamps are thanking you for saving them..hahahaha. Hope you see more great tutorials!!
