It may be due to being split screen, though it maynot look too better. Many games like Kane and Lynch or other still do this. K & L removes shadowing to a great degree and what not.
Good about the improvements on AC. I remember after MGS4 and SplinterCell games that AC was a bit clunky to get into. I hope you don't need to go onto ALL the high areas to get only small portions of the map, the span of the map should be bigger I hope. Takes so long and you miss so much not doing it.

They are not expected, this is almost 2010, the graphics are stuck in 2006 they could at the least make a bit of improvement, I can't even bare looking at wii graphics on my 42 inch plasma, but your right about the 360 thing my bad I apologize i made a mistake
To me Nintendo never really tried to make anything realistic. Uncharted 2 is unmatched for that. The Wii is cartoonie, that's what it's good at. I'm only getting the Wii for mario games and some of the sports ones for parties. Awesome social drinking games.

you got to try l4d2 on keyboard and mouse. once you get used to it it wont want to go back to a controller. fps and rts should be played with keyboard and mouse and platformer, fighting, and rpg should be played on a controller

Nice review of the games, to me i don't think L4D2 is any different in controls, it feels tighter actually with the sensitivity all the way up (the way i play). Great reviews though, and i will be getting AC2 for 360 today.
They added Smoke in L4D2 in some parts of the game to make it more interesting and unique, did you see any of the interviews? They wanted to make it more special.
I LOVED the first assassins creed and my only complaint was that you get through the story in like 8 hours and then thats it. The game was fun as hell but not quite worth 60 bucks in my opinion. cause after the average lengthed story theres nothing else to do. Im probably gonna get the 2nd one though for the improved game play and trophies. just hope the story is a bit longer

I just played the demo for L4D2 on the 360 and I thought the controls were very similar to the first game. Of course it wouldn't be the first time a demo was not like the full version.
Fully agree, I didnt feel much to the controls in LFD as I didnt play the first one that much so not noticed that, However AC2 is surely a contender for GOTY, At first I got bored and was like is this it, I played the first one to death but this one once it gets started its outstanding, Much Improved from the last one and yeah it takes a bit long to get going but once it does prepare to loose yourself in Italy as the great Etzio, What a game. It's running off that old ass Half Life 2 engine and that was kind of impressive ten years ago. Valve is the most overrated studio in the history of the gaming, in my opinion.

Agreed, don't know why Valve even bothers with Consoles as their games don't even fit them. But when 360 uses the same architecture why not. Its easy money and doesn't take away resources from their PC development.
They put it on consoles for like a boost in money. But their masterpeices and the times their games are truly "O_O" is on PC. They support PC as well lol :P
I think Microsoft convinced them with a bit of cash to develop for the 360 also, not because Valve thought it was easy money. But maybe they did. They are selling well on 360, so I guess they can't complain.

I'm going after AC2 when I get a PS3. I never played the original, but I played the prequel on DS, and thought it was pretty decent, so I know this will be at least 10x as good because it's on a console. :D
they went wrong cuz they didnt care, its Valve, if I was Valve I woulda kept working on L4D2, release it next year, and just have released 5 new campaigns for L4D maybe 2 months ago, they barely did anything for L4D DLC wise so I wont expect anything for L4D2

Splitscreen makes the game uglier, it has big differences. You can't see objects from a far and colors are not as good etc.

I'm going after AC2 when I get a PS3. I never played the original, but I played the prequel on DS, and thought it was pretty decent, so I know this will be at least 10x as good because it's on a console. :D

they went wrong cuz they didnt care, its Valve, if I was Valve I woulda kept working on L4D2, release it next year, and just have released 5 new campaigns for L4D maybe 2 months ago, they barely did anything for L4D DLC wise so I wont expect anything for L4D2

hey did they fix all the engine problems on the PS3 for AC2? I heard it still had some frame rate issues, but after three games they should have it about down now... I think this is the 2.0 version of the engine

the ps3 fps is waaay unstable so every game has drops here and there but its not as bad as the 1st imo its a normal one like the ones on a pc game ya know
