@TwistedCyclonee I used 'actors' for the inmates; actors are a category of NPCs that is included with the NPC Control STool - regular NPCs don't react to actors.

The Combine Punisher is a real NPC? They are rare NPCs to be found in HL2 : EP2. NOTE : They Carry a shotgun.

@Rattle189 Mate if you just go on Gmod and goto Singleplayer then while on a map goto the menu and goto toybox an then weapons you should find a Gun that says 'NPCs Spawner' and in that gun lets you spawn lots of HL2 npcs and you should see the model your looking for :)

You need to put the contents of the materials folder and the contents of the models folder (that are both within the zip file) in their namesake folders within your garrysmod/garrysmod folder. Let me know if this works.....

I have no doubt it would be cool, but that would require a machinima skill that I don't have. It would probably require a team of individuals to make a proper job of it too. If professional machinimers out there would like it try it, I still have the saved game. It would require a lot of skill to make a machinima of this.

I used GMod 10. Admittedly, I have never used version 9, but after I purchased version 10 I heard such negative things said about 9, that I was sorta glad I bought 10, even though I know that version 9 is free. Still, I am *sure* there are plenty of interesting things to build in 9, or it would no longer be available, right?

I know that males and females would not be mixed up in prison in the real world, but in GMod there are only a small number of different 'citizen' models, and I didn't want to use the same one twice.

It's only available for the PC. Although, I do believe there are some Source games playable on other platforms, so it's *possible* Garrys Mod may be available on consoles sometime in the future.

To use GMod, you only need one source game. Buy Counter-Strike Source + Garry Mod bundle for $25. Or the Orange Box (five kickass Source games) for $40. It is not vital you have HL2 to run GMod.

Hey there,

First of all you need to brace the fence against a wall, and freeze it. Then select the 'Keep Upright' Tool from the Q menu, and use it on the fence to make it stay upright when you move it. Finally, use your PhysGun to move the fence into your desired position and use the Stacker tool to duplicate it to the left or right; experiment with this - it took me ages to get it right (i.e. right angles on the corners, etc.)
