@Kotakai its a tie both cartoons were dark and didnt always have good ending. Sure Beyond was more slick and Return of the Joker had a Akira style animation to it which i loved. BatmanTAS was great to. Phantasm was a epic movie that puts Schumachers batman films(most B&R) to shame. Its hard to choose. Batman beyond had Great villians liek Inque and Blight but so did BatmanTAS which had the Joker and Freeze(who appeared in a episode of beyond where he fought Blight ;) )Basically its a tie for me

They were both equally good, They both were produced by the same studio and the same creative team.........so Beyond is basically just an extension of TAS.

Exactly. And due to this, I am so tired of people saying that Batman Beyond doesn't follow the storyline of the DCU, since Neither Jason Todd or Damian or Spoiler were even in it. But that's the whole point, Batman beyond is built on Batman TAS and The New Adventures of Batman, along with Justice Leauge and Justice Leauge Unlimited.
