What I am saying is that during his "pwnage" series, TJ was all about hurting his opponent in the most effective way possible. In this case, he went with sexist attacks. Had his target been a male, he would have gone for an equally offensive alternative. In essence, my contention is that a bigot is someone whose opinion of someone else is disproportionately formed based upon preconceived notions, and I think TJ forms his opinions based on what comes out of peoples' mouths.

Viscerally I disagree with what TJ did, but there's no doubt it's effective as a way to vent his spleen. I think Laci's critique was spot on, but her initial assumption that TJ was trying to be rational in the first place makes her reaction seem overdramatic in turn. I agree that some of what TJ said was offensive. My point is that his actions were par for the course. It's as if I hit somebody with my car and they respond by calling me the N-word. I don't like it, but I understand. Now, if I ran that person over BECAUSE of their skin tone THAT would be racist. Likewise for sexism, when one attempts to be rude and offensive as a rebuke then it is hardly damning proof of sexism. At best it proves TJ is unsympathetic.
