  • You have to be completely retarded to think that video games are actually a problem!

  • Heres my reason for playing violent video games: I can kill someone and not get Arrested!!!!!

  • I SINGED IN JUST TO CALL YOU A FAGGOT..... FAGGOT

  • Why has no one made a music video for this with "The World God Only Knows"?

  • Correlations like those used between video games and violence are circumstantial at best, and CAN NOT prove a link without tests to eliminate other causes.

  • holy shit how many games has rockstar made that i havent heard of?

  • I am soooo frucking pissed at america right now. Why do we have to be so touchy on nudity and violence and language? Why can't parents just put on Barney and hide the remote from the little ones? They're going to have to learn about it sooner or later, so why not just let what happens, happen? Seriously! It's like america is run by frucking over-protective moms! Did you know kids aren't allowed to have any candy or sweets in school EVER? Not even for birthdays. My country makes me fruking SICK!!

  • @bluesroyalty98 at our school were allowed 2 do anything but use internet in playing games violent games.

  • I keep hearing "roxxor" instead of "rockstar" games... Does that mean I'm a geek? ;)

  • @mot65 No, it means your and Otaku. Yay for you!

  • Someone remind me to find my paper on why video games don't cause IRL violence. I'll upload it and link it here.

  • @PaintBrigade ....Reminder.

  • @PaintBrigade I just did my government debate on Video Game Violent/Influence.

Fucking GTA has to ruin it for everyone. Only game with legitimate connections because "gangsters" eat that shit up.

  • @xxBlacksundayxx gangster=white people now. lulz

  • Its-a Mia~!!!

  • WE PLAYING ROCKSTAR GAME!

  • i'ts my favourite music group

  • If I ever win an Emmy, here's my speech:

I'd like to thank Anime and Manga for existing, and the L33t Str33t Boys, for helping me through the evils of this world and just let loose. I'd also like to thank my family, for ironing out the rough patches in my life, my friends for putting up with my insanity, and my pets for being there when no one else could have possible. For those of you who didn't understand the begging of this speech, GO FIND YOURSELF AN IMAGINATION!!!! TuT

  • I heard Jon Stewert yell, "yes violent video games are the newest target!" in there

  • that's soooo good song good job AlexStrikesAgain :D

  • i hate it when these idiots blame their HORRIBLE parenting skills (repeat, HORRIBLE) on video games. seriously. and the media just likes to get in on it, making these stupid idiots scared of nothing! its disgusting!

  • A lot of these songs r so cheesy, it's legend!!!!

  • I love reading the comments on this video and seeing debate over video games as a social issue. Also, there is absolutely NOTHING wrong or illegal about using the names of trademarked properties in song lyrics. Has nothing to do with being a fan, indie artist, major label artist. How many rap songs do you hear with lyrics like "I'm drinking my Hennessey and wearing Gucci and driving my Ferrari." It's the same thing.

  • My favorite song in the universe, LOVE IT OR DIE, i am very protective of my music.

  • Just the "OBJECTION!" is enough for me to love this song! XD

  • over ruled

  • Only Rockstar game I like is Red Dead Redemption.

  • I to dislike it when people say video games are bad well there are alot of video games that help you in real life.

  • Some games are a bit too violent, yes, but most of the people that are highly involved in them- let's face it- hardly leave their own houses.

I'm a bit against violence (being a girl. yes stereotypes are accurate), but the world is more violent than most games, right? I mean, god- people use videogames to do what you CAN'T or WON'T do in real life. It's meant to be all effed up... right?

  • ...they are just fools, just because you PLAY a game does not mean your prepaired for jack, hell video games are best for venting, why don't they play Mario Kart for a bit and see video games are not bad, its the people that are picking up the game thats bad to begin with

  • People that aren't mature enough to be able to separate video game/movie/tv violence from real-world tragedy don't deserve access to such media.

The rest of us though; responsible, rational, logical gamers and television watchers get the butt end of a lot of the blame simply because we enjoy these things responsibly...

It's like, if you can't drink alcohol without beating your wife or plowing down people in your car, you don't deserve to partake. Just my opinion.

  • isnt it hellsing? ALUCARD!!! ///_^

  • ya kno i think they r trying to say how stupid people who bl;ame these things are

  • go get me phoenix wright (objection)

  • What I find funny is they blame video games, but the the news, movies, and tv which have all been around longer are just as, if not more, violent. Excuse mewhile I go kill something in irritation...

  • I'm in the fan club XD

  • Gamers aren't the problem it's the people who blame games for the problem. Those people are complete assholes and don't deserve an opinion on violence.

  • i agree with you for the most part but you cannot denie that the games(media in gelral) do play a part in the problem. The idea has to get in there heads somehow and the games are violent

  • Yes, games can get violent, but so do many other forms of entertainment and media. If someone were to say that media causes violence in teenagers, they should focus on more than just video games as the main cause.

  • i said media in genral

  • I'm sort of surprised they don't get slammed by copyright infringement. I mean, if I was a game or anime producer I'd like free publicity and to immortalized in song, but not all people see it that way.

  • I don't think they're big enough yet--and it is all good publicity, really.

But lots of other music artists mention brands in their songs--although I'm not aware of the extent of any agreement or partnerships of the parties involved...

  • @generalsargant332

For the purposes of satire, it's legit as far as I know. Heck, if you think this is much, go listen to Powerglove.

  • @generalsargant332 it is protected i think cuse it is a fan made song thay are just using the names

  • @generalsargant332 They have to much fans the fans will fight for the leetstreet boys to keep playing.

  • @generalsargant332 Why would we? There's nothing illegal or infringing about saying the name of a trademarked property. How many raps do you hear with lyrics about drinking Hennessy, wearing Gucci and driving a Ferrari? It's the same thing.

  • @LeetStreetBoys Some people are just oversensitive or "sue-happy".

I don't listen to rap, so I don't know about that.

  • @LeetStreetBoys

    All of them isnt it?

  • @generalsargant332

They can use the name in references to the games legally; they just can't use the names and say they came up with them. If you use a name as a reference to something, you can legally use it basically. Just don't claim to own the thing you're referring to.

  • ok maybe i'm not as in touch with the gaming community as i think but what the hell game teaches cannibalism? i mean games don't really teach anything but you know what i mean

  • I love that I recognize The Daily Show in there.

  • I hate people that blame violence on video games

They aren't innocent yes, but are they the sole reason? hell no

  • @Alphalance lets look at it this way if your kid has any habits that are bad just tell that kid no you cant play this game cause u dont know what is real or fake and to u this kind of game is what will set you off or explain to the kid that you dont get infinint health by killing 20 cops in 1 explosion and u also dont have hit points any kid who thinks that is getting colouring books for christmas for the rest of his life

  • @Alphalance ugh i cant believe idiots blame games when they should blame the idiot child and them selves for not having the poweer to explain and say no

  • @Alphalance i just laugh and say "next time i shoot a bloodsucking zombie i will picture your face.. violent video games just saved your life."

  • the funny thing is that most people that play the violent games are usually less violent then the ones who don't

  • this song is pretty good but ever since that game bully ive automatically hated rockstar games.. cause thats the only game of theirs i know but its more than horrible.. and no i didnt buy it.. a friend let me borrow his nephews copy of it (i think it was his nephews) lol but i like the message the video is sending either way.. video games aint the problem.. look up "parenting" and then try to blame video games for this stuff

  • i ment song XD

  • Vid games have nothing to do with the crap people do, only idiots actually ever get obssessed and news ppl make a riot from it, there isn't actually so many reports on, its all just stressed by the media!!!!! XD i digress, best game ever!!!

  • Yeah, it's not the games, it's the idiots who play them and do those stupid things! Most people who play video games have a grasp on reality, and therefore, games are NOT the problem here!

  • silly news casters, only dumbasses are actually negatively influenced by video games, i'm sure most of us have a grasp on reality to know we're okay.

  • best song by leetstreet- best song ever period

  • WTF! terrorists were trained on Halo?...that...that......WTF!! o.o

  • @Lupirio23 that's exactly what i fucking said i was like o_o then i started breathing weird and was like " MY GOD I'M A TERRORIST O_o?"

  • My Nii-San, played counter strike all the time, and he's not going on murderous rampage... heh, I play violent games as a way to release stress and stabilize my emotions...ESPECIALLY Naruto and Dynasty Warriors! those 2 are best for getting away from my problems for abit so I can solve them with a calm head.

  • thanks for the help. i appreciate it ^^

  • No problem ^^

  • When will you upload other videos of their songs?

  • As soon as I have the time to make more.

  • @AlexStrikesAgain and as soon as they make more besides comiket

  • Comiket?

  • ya think they are referring to the GTA series? and some other games made by ROCKSTAR games?

  • WOW! xD

  • holy crap,

    THIS IS AWESOME xD

  • where do you download their songs?? ive been trying to find these songs for like FOREVER to make AMVS out of them

  • They're available on iTunes now, but I actually bought the CD from them in person.

  • I found somthing out while doing an argument research paper about how violent video games dont influence children. According to studies, ever since violent video games have come out, crime rates have gone down. That, and more than 60% of bullies say they DONT play video games. Less than 40% say they do, so you can hardly say video games are causing bullies.

  • o amen 2 that. i think that that whole "games influence kids" stuf is a load of BULL!

  • Despite what I earlier said I personally don't believe video games have any influence on people when it comes to violence. Actually one study showed violent people become less violent when they play violent games.

  • video games may cause children to become violent when they play them at a young age when there mind is developing but look at religion it hasn't just caused everyday violent outbursts its caused wars

  • If video games make murderers, guns kill people and spoons make Rosie O'Donnel fat.

  • I just want to say RIP the victims of the VT shooting (one of my close firend's brother was almost one but didn't go to school that day)

  • First off, who cares if it's not the correct term. Although it is. Look up the official definition of the suffix er, it says 'someone who or something that does, provides, or is involved with'. Nowhere does it say anything about it being a profession or occupation.

  • i love this song soo much like real life....

  • my second fave song from them ^^

  • I'd like to see a music vid for this. Awesome song 5/5

  • Luv meh vid game!!! idc if i go to hell i hear they got good flatscreens XP lol, just incase ur dumb i waskiddin but i do luv vid games

  • You just helped my point, You said the skill in controller is not related to real guns. And yet, they just said the sniper was trained by playing Halo 3. However, if one example isnt enough, then keep listening. At the end of the first part, that girl says it causes people to drive over pedestrians and engage in cannabalism. Isnt THAT proof enough? And by gamer, Im refering to the people like me who play alot, and strive to get everything. People who, what some people call, are hardcore gamers.

  • A smoker doesn't smoke for a living.

  • Hey, hey, people, chillax.

There are professional gamers--people that compete for money, and people who test games.

Gamer is just a term for people who, professionally or otherwise, play video games often.

And although there is a lack of evidence for either side, due to the near-impossibility of unbiased research, wether or not some random kid decides to go crazy is obviously not because they happen to play video games, but because they choose to do so.

  • If everyone who played video games went insane and shot everyone they could, we'd all be dead by now.

  • xD! I agree, because, as we all know, since I'm a guitar hero fanatic, I'm gonna run around playing baseball with people's heads and a guitar!... NOT!

Near impossibility is right, kudos to you, I agree.

  • Hahahahaha. This song is so true. Politicians point the blame at video games waaay too much.

  • I Have all the games mentioned in this vid...xDD

  • om meh too _\_/ rock on man rock on

  • Man? Last time I checked I was female...

  • uh... its just a in general thing k dont overreact

  • Did you listen to the song? Did you hear the part about the sniper had been trained by playing Halo 3? Isnt that evidence enough? And I play games competitively. So I am a gamer. If you're talking about a proffesion, then lets look at other things. Like shopping. People who shop are called shoppers. Is it a job? No. Is it a profession? No. A gamer is someone who plays games. Like a shopper is someone who shops.

  • Um, no, its not retarded. WE are called gamers because we play video games alot. People like you are called stupid. Usually. Retard and dumbass are other names that come to mind too. Anyways, as for evidence, have you taken a look around? Look at the kids that play games for fun, and then look at the kids that play it because they want to practice it in real life. Then you can come back and quite possibly be a bit smarter about reality. People who ake games too seriously are the retards. The End

  • AHH!!! I LOVE this song!!!! =D I get most of the references.... so it's HILARIOUS/AMAZING!!! =D =D =D

  • this is a miss not a good song no fense to anyone who likes it and i am a fan of leet street boys

  • -facepalm-

You all hate this so much so stop listening.

It's just music made to be enjoyed and to have fun with.

    Fail, seriously.

    And I'm a girl-GAMER.

    I fucking said it, gamer.

And I'm proud to use a term such as that.

    Tap that., bitches.

Anyways, I like this song and make sure to check your spelling~

  • Really now?

Call me what you want, I don't know you so I guess it doesn't matter.

You still dislike this song right?

So why do you continue to stick around and reply to other comments on this vid?

  • Troll.

  • Why do you enjoy causing problems here?

  • You can state your opinion, but you're going out of your way to be spiteful and it's making you look like a jackass.

  • @F3tusRape

There's stating an opinion and there's flat out insulting people. You fall under the latter.

  • Haha, nice.

    My apologies, I sorta fixed the name. >.>;;

  • 10/10

    Phoenix Write? You fucking bastard.

  • Bitch, if you please.

  • >Phoenix Write

    JESUS CHRIST

  • Sorry!

  • It's not that bad :/

    Could have been alot worse

  • Yuri the Only One is for the people who understand the refrences if you dont like it it is becous you dont get the refrences

  • Why did you listen then?

  • Well you know what...YOU'RE SHIT!

    So there :-P

  • thats too bad, this song is amazing, you just need to develop a better sense of music

  • That's lame.

You shouldn't let stuff influence you like that.

I don't like the song 'You Are My Sunshine,' but that doesn't mean I don't like sunshine.

  • Hater

    gotta love to hate them

    they're every where

    unsuccessful troll is unsuccessful :3

for future reference of course :D

  • I always thought it was funny how do you train a sniper on Halo??? wtf

  • i don't think it's possible, Halo is the most unrealistic sniping simulators, MAYBE KZ2 or CoD.

  • Before violent video games, they blamed pen and paper roleplaying games. Before that, it was swing music. There will always be an activity or something that is scapegoated, it's just the way society seems to work.

All that being said, this song is awesome. Too cool.

  • Games never hurt anyone. The idiots that think what happens in games is ok are the ones to blame. and the idiot parents who wont teach their kids the diffrence between reality the video game world. Do no blame the rest of us gamers for some bullshit other people did, and what you screwed up on.

  • Amen, brother. You hit the nail on the head.

  • too true!!! i cant believe so many shit heads will go berzerk and blame video games cuz of all the crap that happens around the world!!!!

  • Hah, this is an awesome song XDD

I love how hilarious those recordings sound, especially in context =P

  • yes, thats right, video games have caused all the problems in history, even though they have only been around for 30 years max... what BS, lets just blame whatever we can to take the blame off of society.

  • wow why can't people just take blame for their action I play games all the time and I've never killed anyone

  • It's Phoenix Wright.

But other than that, Good work!

  • Oh, did I spell it wrong?

I just typed it the way they did on their cd...

  • ..then they were wrong...(I'm a huge Phoenix Wright fan. ^^)

  • I love L33TSTR33T BOYS!

  • I hate ignorant people that try to blame video games for something a person should be responsible.

    News media you are retarded.

  • lol

  • I want to favourite this video twice. Also, it's now my new channel video xD.

  • Oh, wow, I appreciate your enthusiasm. o.O

  • Is it really spelled that way on the cd... -_-

  • OH MY GOD!!

    ...I love you!

    And, yes, I think so...

I'll have to go into the video and fix that.

Also, the lyrics for Yuri the Only One was put on twice.

    But it's okay. ^^

    I already had those lyrics.

  • 10/10

  • Some people are just retarded one thing I read aout violent video games actually mentioned duck hunt

    AMAZING SONG!!!

  • Duck hunts?

    Seriously?

  • I want to see that thing you read.

  • same, where in hell did you hear that?

  • this song i so cool keep it up

  • I will. ^^

  • I love this song, because I hate Jack Thompson and all the soccermoms who hate video games. I've played only a few of these games people say are bad, and I've never killed shit, and saying Halo trained a sniper is just bull! Thank you, Leetstreet Boys, for expressing the view of rational gamers everywhere! Raise your voice and idiots like Jack Thompson won't win the day!

  • i agree

  • OBJECTION!!!

  • I second that objection!!!!

  • ...Tardy people get a detention. > 3>

  • LAWLS

  • I blame negligent parents more than video games, cause if there's a five year old that somehow got his hands on a GTA and plays it everyday, well, yeah...

    (true story!)

  • A five year old!

A five year old should be out climbing trees and getting scars to reminisce about when he gets older, not sitting in front of a screen!

  • i think that idiots are to blame i mean think about it kids are now violent but not truly violent back in the day they used to tie their sisters hair to the door knob and the like @.@ just now they are the violence of nowadays which nowadays they have more crimes shown XD

  • A little bit more pop-py then I like in my music but the message in this is spot on. I can't stand people who buy into pinning violence and hatred on things children just happen to like. Before this it was comic books and television.

People need to think for themselves before buying into this whole propaganda about gaming. As for me...

I think I'll hang onto my copies of GTA and Mortal Combat.

  • I prefer Bully.

Ah, the joys of stealing bikes and beating up little girls.

...I bet I'm on some government watch list for future child abuse...
