Im sorry to be a sap but the scene when colbert comes out of no where and goes straight to ray.... Touching. For all the violence there was love. I loved this series.
Things like that happen pretty often. They guys you serve in combat with.. Man to this day I love them more than I love my own blood family. Especially in Combat Arms, it is a tight knit community of alpha-types who all adore each other, but are still always competing against each other. I was my Commander's Bodyguard. We went to blows once after a mission. The good thing is, conflict in that culture usually ends when it is over. You just drop it, and on a drop of a dime are back to normal.
You guys don't get it man. When you go to war with people, you love your brothers, but as the months go by you start to despise them. I mean, you still love them, but they just piss you off. So yeah, mix that in with stress and competition, you'll get a fight.
YES I've been wanting to ask this question since I first saw this scene! Why did Ray attack Rudy after he was knocked down fair and square? Was it just stress or was there a cheap shot I missed?
It's my second favorite from the entire series, just after the final "When the Man Comes Around" one. It shows how even after their work is done for now, those Marines are still somehow angry or depressed about what they went through.

@Happa90
I think it was from stress cause even before that he was like spacing out and not talking much.
