@Loxleiev Es muy díficil porque además de ser un apellido bastante común, se trata de un patronímico, por lo que el apellido va cambiando de padres a hijos. Ejemplo:

Gonzalo tiene un hijo, este se llama Lope González, y éste a su vez tiene otro hijo y pasa a llamarse Ruy López. Por lo que muy difícilmente se encuentra relación a primera vista entre abuelo y nieto. Por eso los títulos nobiliarios se añadían a los apellidos como "García López de Haro" porque siempre era el mismo.

@yutn this medieval Cantiga was composed by Alfonso X of Castile (nowadays a part of Spain), or his court. In those times the Galaico-Portugués (Galician-Portuguese) language was the poetic language of the Kingdom of Castile, so the Cantigas were written in that language. I know some words and verbs in current Galician and I can say that "non é gran cousa" means, in Spanish, "no es gran cosa". So in English it would be "no big deal".

In current Portuguese is "pretty" "different".
