  • THNK U Pharoah Jed

  • Check out Extinct if you don't know it already. It's like this song, only less brutal and more stripped down. It's from the very early days of Nile, cool if you like your metal a bit lighter than this

  • @jb1563700

mmm, never tougt o tat... isn't it a bit slower?

Te guitar sound deinitely is similar.

  • Nile = Wacken 2012

  • My roomate's gonna have this play at his funeral.

  • Look up epic in the dictionary, Nile's music starts playing.

  • @justifiedbydeath Totally agree bro, look up astonishing and you will hear George Kollias's drumming.

  • @JUNKPARLOR Thanks man, I'll do that!

  • @JUNKPARLOR Yup, right there as it should be.

  • @justifiedbydeath

As for mine enemies Let their charred ashes Be as discarded refuse Lying forgotten in the desert Let their shades not rise again

  • @justifiedbydeath fucking eh dude \m/

  • i think Nile could never make a bad track, even if they tried really hard :p

  • I am amazed how 2 comment pages are filled with replies to a disliker...

I wonder what would happen if that guy was known in real life hahahhah

Anyway, sick band!I like how they add that egyptian theme to their songs

  • One of the best tracks of all time...I even love the stuff Karl Sanders does on the side...all of it brilliant.

  • Im new to nile. just got of the drummers youtube sight. What song is the fastest heavyest song they have done.

  • Wow, that's some serious audio quality.

  • 4:37 "Like A Retard In The Water!!!"

  • @errklsgod LOL

  • quite possible my favorite nile song. fuckin heavy and slow

  • @ExecutiveDmitri Or take ears away from you, you are not worthy

  • @ExecutiveDmitri If comments like that is your attempt to be noticed by someone, go live your little life elsewhere.

  • @ExecutiveDmitri May your tongue dissolve in cyanide and may your eyes be consumed in your head by the wrath of Set you heretical waste.

  • @ExecutionerOfThySon Your Bullshit doesn't affect those who speak the truth.

  • @ExecutiveDmitri You probably like shitty metalcore/deathcore. Fucking emo twat.

  • @ExecutionerOfThySon Wrong Again. And Stop trying to synchronize my name, you are not worthy!

  • @ExecutiveDmitri Not worthy? Of you? Can a man be worthy of wading through shit? Such would be the equivalence of enduring your presence. Be off you low life!

  • @ExecutiveDmitri Dmitri, please leave this page... Your attracting alot of unwanted attention.

If you dislike Death Metal, fine, but us fans are very loyal to it.

  • @ExecutiveDmitri Lol. You must not like death metal, then, huh? But yet you listen to The Red Hot Chili Peppers?

  • @xxSkullgrinder Dunno. I prefer music that is enlightening and puts me into a good mood. Guess any music will do, as long as it meets the criteria.

  • @ExecutiveDmitri It's cool, man. Haha. I'm not going to go all apeshit on you for not liking Nile. Death metal is an acquired taste, and some people need to understand that not everyone likes it. Music like this puts some metalheads in a good mood, including me. Whatever works for you. :)

  • @ExecutiveDmitri successful troll, but in all seriousness you wish you were as good at music as nile

  • @ExecutiveDmitri nah forget it you're just too much of a faggot to accept how superior metal is

  • @ExecutiveDmitri i wonder if you listened to the whole song, or just the first two seconds before you made the judgement. im not saying if not you should listen to the whole to get a better opinion, just that its funny if you tortured yourself for 10 minutes

  • @ExecutiveDmitri

its called metal. obviously you havent been introduced to it before. please listen to some more before you judge a great band like this

  • @ExecutiveDmitri

98,65% of the votes likes this song, so I guess 98,65% of the nile-fans are fruitcakes too then. And i'm a proud one!

  • @0ooscar Well, I have to say, I'm quite hungry, give me one of those fruitcakes please :) xD Nah, just kidding, I can eat myself too, lolz, I'm a fruitcake too xD

  • @BvOBart

haha, my favorite cake is actually fruit cakes which only makes it funnier :D true story!

  • @ExecutiveDmitri They have more musical skill than you have grammar, so how about shutting the fuck up before you look like even more of a dumbass?

  • @ExecutiveDmitri If even the gods can die, then you should die! This is fuckin' Nile, one of the best death metal bands out there!

  • Death metal opera!

  • This song is a fucking masterful adventure! Even the song title is true meaning.. everybody must die even.. THE GODS!!! \\m//

  • Fuckin masterpiece.... Cheers!

  • Does anyone have any tabs for this solo?

  • There needs to be some kinda metal showdown between the worldly representatives of the Egyptian and Viking gods.

  • @Fythbro I'd die to see that!!!

  • @Fythbro That's interesting...like Nile vs. Ocean Chief or something (OC are a band that talk about Vikings alot in their songs)

  • @perrottafamily1 Or Nile Vs Amon Amarth? Id Like That, There Both High League In There Genre :D

  • @joebo511 Or Nile vs. Bathory...

  • @OrganzdAnarchy BROOOOO DON'T YOU KNOW THE RULE? You can't compare anything with Nile!

  • @elvisman2000 haha i realize that, i was just throwing it out there that the most epic Norse mythology band and the most epic Egyptian mythology should go head to head.....if it would even be possible

  • @OrganzdAnarchy hehehe, I see the point. Amon Amarth and Nile are both one of my fav bands, but Nile is the thing :p I only have one album of Amon Amarth and all albums of Nile :P Nile is truly my favorite band!

  • @Fythbro Nile Vs. Amon Amarth Vs. Aeon Vs. The Devil Wears Prada. Egyptian Vs. Norse Vs. Satanism Vs. Christianity (I think we all know who loses)

  • @666Satanum666 George W. Bush?

  • The Star Spangled Banner is promoted video next to this??

  • Those three dislikes are from the gods who must die...

  • 5:34 FUCKH!!! I'll eat someone raw!

  • 0:43 THAT FUCKING RIFF

  • i love all of nile's work but i still don't quite understand why the production quality of Ithyphallic is worse than Annihilation of the wicked..

were they going for a more raw sound or what?

  • epic intro

  • 10 minutes of eargasm

  • @TheMetalLord1000 and 2 WHOLE SECONDS lol

  • ahhh! The Jew God goonna kill yo babies!!!

  • this is song should be the intro to the gates of hell

  • So, there are HERETICS blaspheming the gods, claiming they "must die" ?

    CAST THEM DOWN!

  • @Dadutta Have you read the lyrics? When all belief in Gods disappears they cease to exist and thus die. In this song, he describes Amun's temple, abandoned and desolate, a shallow shade of its past grandeur. If there is no one that believes in a God then that God will die.

  • @Afterburnzz if you were familiar witht he song "cast down the heretic" from Niles prior album you would understand the reference, idiot....

  • @Dadutta Always quick to throw the insult, aren't you? For your information, I own the entire Nile discography so far and I am well aware of the lyrics to "Cast down the Heretic". It's just that this song has nothing to do about heretics.

  • @Dadutta thank u >>>....

  • this song kicks nile ass

  • this song kicks nile ass

  • wow... just wow

  • i like how they have the best song intros evar

  • @MertOKTN yeah, this song is so awesome that you will hear it when you are dead

  • NHÉ ROX!

  • holy shit if this doesnt punch drama and epicness into your chest, im not sure what will!

  • never could i b disappointed with these guys from s.c. so fukin brutal!

  • the best riff at 4:27

  • Comment removed

  • so FUCKING EPIC

  • I'm the only God of War fan how thinks this song as perfect for Kratos ?

  • @wotansson Yeah I guess it would be but only thing it isn't based on Greek mythology. But I guess that doesn't matter.

  • @xfghkhjfsejid the rage against gods doesn't have cutural boundaries XD.

    I can imagine Kratos eating Amon's hearth :D !

  • i dont do drugs at all and i think electric wizard is still beast.

  • Heaviest song ever. When the song starts and you've got that orchestra thing and the guitar just like DUNNNNNNN

  • @Caconymic if you want heavy, listen to electric wizard..

although I do agree that this is a fucking heavy ass song \m/

  • @duvall375 I've heard Electric Wizard and I'd say Nile is still heavier because EW is maybe a little bit too sludgy, it doesn't have that 'punch' to it, you know?

  • @Caconymic well they're doom metal, not death metal so it's probably not going to be as punchy, but taking a few bong hits and listening to a 10 minute song of really slow and heavy riffs is still fucking awesome.

  • If i don't listen to this song at least once a day i have violent spasms and vomit all over myself.

  • Such a slow, brutal example of what death metal truly is at it's best. It's incredible how unbelievably heavy this shit is. My ear pussy's are wet. :D

  • badass song!

  • Nile are at their best in slower tempos, in my opinion. Longer, more epic athmospheric tracks like this one make my day.

  • This song is fucking brilliant. These lyrics are well-written and just tell a story all on their own... Karl Sanders could be an amazing fantasy / epic-history writer if he wanted to be.

  • @Wyndrax since when atheism = agnoticism? educate yourself little bit dude, this planet is collapsing and is becuase the arrongance of men and religion, we are not alone in this, one question when you are in the desert and you see an oasis in the middle of the desert don't you dominate the oasis? is the same with the universe this planet is an oasis in the middle of the desert so we are not alone, enjoy your slavery life of christianity

  • Nice phrasing here...

  • EVEN THE GODS

    MUST

    DIE

    EVEN THE GODS

    MUST

    DIE

    EVEN THE GODS

    MUST

    DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • What the fuck is up with all the spiritual debate... just listen to the music and be hapy...

  • Nile are always so epic, it's kickass

  • @PharaohJed maybe not to you but to me He is very much existing...and proven..though my faith and creed are unconditional.

  • you're a fucking bad-ass PharaohJed!!!!! thanks for putting my favorite bands songs onto youtube!!! May the graces of Ra be cast upon you.....

  • @PharaohJed Yeah. It does.

  • @PharaohJed "Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?"

    Enjoy your atheism.

  • @Wyndrax The bible is the best fiction book ever.

  • this may be the most metal thing ive heard in my life

  • @Death66reaper6 that's Nile for you.

  • @Benteiron Greetings, yes I agree I would not want a religion forced upon me, that is mainly why I have pulled away from some religions such as Christianity, I am a pagan :) as far as the afterlife goes, I question that myself, I wonder what it will really be like or even if there is one which makes me have my doubts on religion in general but I have that faith, anyways you have some good thoughts

  • NILE!!! Gods of Death Metal!!!!

  • Epic intro O_O

  • @Wyndrax there doesnt have to be proof, most religions are built off of faith, and honestly who gives a fuck about someones religion, as long as its not Christianity we are fine :D

  • @NiflheimxMusic Yeah :P Though i wouldnt personally want any other religion forced on myself. Im an agnostic, Im pretty sure that if there is a god or several none of the religions have got their nature completely right. Also the question if afterlife exists and what is it like is something Im actually very interested, not enough to kill myself though :P I´m a bit on the buddhist/hindu side in that, seeing as many people have had experiences of remembering their earlier lives.

  • Sadly, one day Nile will die...

  • @dreamer4e May you be crucified and impaled with a rusty trident for inciting such a saddening, suicide-invoking thought

  • @TheFearAsylum Get a grip a hold over yourself.Just a comment,lol

  • a sad song... but awesome

  • this is probably one of the only death metal songs/bands i will ever enjoy,

by the way, i was reading the comments to this video, people are saying they are athiest and Egyptian Gods do not exist, first off if you are truely an athiest you deny any gods, you can not claim that there is only a christian god and what not if you are still an athiest, if your are an athiest you deny belief in ALL GODS, and let someone believe in Egyptian Gods, I am a norse pagan, if you dont like it fuck you

  • @NiflheimxMusic There's no way to prove most gods exist/don't exist.

I call myself an atheist because I know the most commonly accepted definition of God doesn't exist.

  • @Wyndrax

There's more definitions of God than the Judeo-Christian/Islamic one. There's tons of things that go beyond the realm of science to explain. Don't be so closed-minded. It's impossible to prove or disporve either side of the argument, so anyone who zealously supports one idea and completely denounces the other is a dumbass.

    Agnosticism 101.

  • @cynestol9 I don't see the point of calling "god" anything other than the judeo-christian/islamic one. Zeus, Odin, pretty much all of the other "gods" are basically childish, selfish, human-like beings whose existence, as you said yourself, can't be proven to be real or false.

So yeah, that's basically my point of view.

  • @cynestol9 what are these 'tons of things that go beyond the realm of science'? like rainbows? leprechauns? santa?

  • @eatrocksah

No. Save your cocksucker reductionist rhetoric. Consciousness, retrocausality, nonlocality, etc.

  • @cynestol9 yes i shall, save it for all those rational types

  • WARNING; you may get a neck and whole body injury,

so listen to it at you riskk.

  • @fforced mine fell off

  • Gods = Extra-terrestrals [descending from heaven was usual in ALL religions, both poly- and monotheistic] = Reptilians

  • EVEN THE GOOOOODS...MUUUUUST...DIIIIIEEE

  • Nile has the most massive breakdowns, all the deathcore faggots need to take notes

  • All of you fucking buffoons who spell exist as "excist..." Go kill yourselves, right now, shotgun mouthwash, .50 aspirin. Do it.

  • I love the lyrics

  • fuckin cool solo man

  • I dont think a song name could get any more metal

  • My Screensaver turned on before this song ended. That's when you know a song is brutal as hell. (Or just fuckin long.) lol

  • The end is a little dirty, cleans it up as it goes.

  • @PharaohJed do all of your videos turn into religion wars? That sucks, dude. Why can't we all enjoy the awesome band that is Nile?

  • I'd definitely want this song to be played at my wedding

  • every one must die even god's ....thats so true.but why??!!

  • Well this song has a point... No one lives forever! Not even the gods.. BTW, awesome song !!

  • ooo...i like the new music.new music new era...

  • What I don't get is the however thing. Egyptian gods don't exist, in spite of his atheism.

  • this song is the perfect combination of epic and brutal, i fuckin love it

  • thanks for the post pharaoh youtube would be pointless without nile

  • i don't know why people talk about religion and stuff on the metal channel it doesn't matter what you believe it matters about the music even though there are plenty of interpretations about it...

  • every song is epic, especially the ends to their longer songs, goodness gracious, like sarcophogus or 4th arra of dagon or something

  • @PharaohJed

i think he can say what he want i am an atheist also and egyptian gods WTF ? do NOT excist !

  • @henky888 Plus, it's pointless to argue about religion on a Nile video.

  • The moon's light flickers, as earth's gods dance against it; I shall see the dancing forms of the gods that leap and howl in the moonlight... The light is dimmer and the gods are afraid...

  • For fucks sake people, listen to the music and stop overthinking the song title.

  • They're coming to florida next year!

  • who cares about you belifs you cant prove or disprove god! thats why its called faith just shut up and listen to the song.

  • Nile, BRUTAL DEATH METAL with EGYPTIAN INFLUENCE...

  • Death fucking metal

  • @PharaohJed and whats to say it doesn't still occur? To assume it doesn't in our 'modern' culture is to ignore the fact that man is as superstitious now as he was back then. Proportionately. And im not saying this strictly applies to the populace in the lower rungs of the economic framework.

  • brûtal

  • Last 3 minutes are awesome

  • I want to hear this song at my funeral!

  • @MertOKTN you can't hear it,because your dead then,lol!

  • @MertOKTN funny keed u make funny joke

  • @MertOKTN good choice.

  • @MertOKTN you cant youll be dead b.d

  • @MertOKTN LMAO how the fuck are you gonna hear it if your fkn dead??? haaahaahaahaahaaa!!!!!!!!

  • @MertOKTN At your funeral? Youre gonna be dead lol how are you gonna hear it?

  • @MertOKTN hard to hear when you dead

  • @MertOKTN Ironyyyyyyyyyyyy.

  • this shit transport me to ancint egypt, and fills me with anger to kill some fuckers in the process

fuckin epic piece of death metal mastery!!

  • fucking epic kick ass song

  • thekickassdrummer=ignorant douche

  • Lionel Messi is is class!

  • I love the way Nile end each album with an Epic of some description.

Even The Gods Must Die was the cherry atop a fairly lacking album.

  • @Kaleo64 I think this is Nile's best work so far... well I haven't heard Those Whom The Gods Detest but alot of people I know loved this album... don't see why it's detested at all. What may be safely written is still my favourite song of Nile's and I pretty much like most of the songs on Ithyphallic

  • This song really showcases Nile's love for their work. Some bands seem to need to rush through their own music, but Nile isn't afraid of taking their time to really churn out an atmosphere.

I think Nile sound heaviest when they take it down a notch. It's like a village of peasants running from an avalanche of crushing boulders...

  • @iamqqqqqqq so true. Nile's love for their work is really genuine which is rare and a very nice thing to see. I like the peasant-boulder analogy. Well-said.

  • @iamqqqqqqq agreed!

  • 7,777th view! Awesome song!

  • yeaah they come to graspop !

  • 0:23 mute city :D

  • deep atmosphere of anger, powerful and magnificent song, intense...what else could we expected ?
