OMG! I have been looking for this song forever. I remember hearing it on 102.9 KBLX in San Francisco in 1997 and I never knew how to spell the artist last name. The radio station would play it everyday aroulnd 4:45pm as my workday was really fading away. I thought it was Dowe. Thank you gatewayofvanessa for posting this song. I've already played this song 7 times already and it sounds better and better on each repeat. One more time Mr. Deejay!!!

@blakrootz My roommate who lived with me at the time grew up in The Bay all his life and was laughing b/c I was calling KBLX, Kay Blax. Great station. I remember them advertising a show for Ledisi somewhere in Emeryville awhile back. I never got a chance to go there. It seems like it would have a really great view of SF from there. Gotta go back soon sometime. Good to hear that Kay Blax is still going strong.
