Mannfred Mann did a better job with"Blinded By The Light" than Bruce did. Natalie Cole did a better job with "Pink Cadillac" than Bruce did. That stated, of all the tunes Bruce ever did, this one was the best. I liked this tune better than any of the tunes on "Born In The USA';Believeth Thou It!

Um just fyi, this song is considered to be one of the worst Springsteen songs because one it's a bad music video. Two, it's more of a pop song than a rock and roll song, and three this is when Springsteen sold himself out to the record companies and to the fame and glory/money. This song was Steven Van Zandt 's idea as he was always more of a pop guy. Don't believe me? Ask a hardcore Springsteen fan.

He was supposed to be all about simple things, but during these times, he fell to the glory and fame. It's a catchy song, not gonna lie, but it's not Springsteen. During this time, he went Hollywood. Look at pics from when he was young, scrawny, unshaven, bad teeth. After this, he was buff, clean, and fixed his teeth.
