@Catsclaw00 Yep, in that case 2001 KX76 is the largest asteroid, which is in the Kuiper belt. It's half the size of Pluto, and is a dwarf planet candidate. Your question is incredible. The only answer is that if the object is spherical, and could round up its own mass, then it qualifies for a dwarf planet. Ceres qualifies because it is spherical and rounds up its own mass. Other asteroids aren't spherical and don't round up their own mass. It's quite complicated.

This statement confirms your ignorance in astronomy. No asteroid is as big as earth. If an asteroid were that big, it'd be called a PLANET. If an asteroid were that big, its mass would be strong enough to make the object spherical, and have a very strong gravity to have a stable orbit. A very sad statement, the other stuff is also bogus.
