i still can't get over how violent the show is. it's not just that though, because there are wy more violent anime out there. i guess it's also that everything is just so epic and tragic, and there's literally no hope for anyone, not one person. and everyone literally dies, and not just dies, but is killed in some violent, romanticized fashion. gundam is my favorite anime of all time so i gotta give it up to yoshiyuki tomino, who also did this series. he knows how to get the job done! PERFECT.
Even though gundam and ideon recieved much critisism i love both shows.
