these are the kinda people who can actually explain what it is... not some crazy guru who puts it in the most complicated possibly way to just totally throw you off and show off their widsom.. at least thats my opinion

But being aware of who you are at your unchangeable core is a good description of what enlightenment is to one person. The thing is - what's the point of searching for enlightenment if it leads to something you can't change?
For me the journey to enlightenment would recognizing who you are, including the things you can and want to change. That way you are becoming a better person along the way.
The understanding that all souls are equal and that spirit is one and we are all one.
