This looks really delicious and so I tried it. I did the same thing savoy cabbage, celery, onions and I used Shirataki noodles (aka Miracle Noodles). They contain no fat, carbs or cholesterol and can be eaten while on HCG. I chopped up some poblano peppers threw it all in low fat chicken broth and was in my glory. Warmed me up too since I too live in NJ.
your recipes our great, you have fabulous ideas however could you give us more detail. We all are not great cooks. I love this idea! But please give more detail while you post your new recipes!!
I haven't tried them yet but i just found out about miracle noodles . they would be a great addition to this soup. it looks great! i'm going to try it!
Oh my gosh thank you so much for the idea!!! How have you done on the HCG diet? I am on week 3 starting today and I have lost 15 but thank you so much for this!!!
Never thought of putting shrimp in soup. What a great idea! The spices are what really help things not be quite so bland. I so need to experiment - not creative enough in cooking P2 friendly meals. Thanks for the idea. Love the cooking segments!!!
They help but last night I was watching TV in my bedroom and even though it was a toasty 73 in the house I was feeling chilly. I get iodine in my salt though....
Aileen just made a vlog about taking iodine drops to help with her cold hands and feet. She says that our thyroid is overworked trying to break down the fats and that is why we are colder.
All those spices you're eating should be keeping you toasty :)
I just got the LLBean Christmas Catalog yesterday and boy, does it have some lovely WARM clothes. Check out their web site. Here in Pensacola, Fl it was down to 48 last night, so that is "cold" for me.
How much water did you use?

@1869AZIZ oh and I used cooked shrimp too! Didn't want to fuss with all the cleaning of raw shrimp and it cuts down on prep time.

That looks so good!! I think I'll make that sometime this week.
