Holy crap... Thats me! I haven't seen this in ages... It was a little traumatizing to me as a kid so I avoided it for a long, long time. This is so weird. And for the record... my mother was responsible for that hideous 80s hair. And the hideous couch. Yikes. Also its very weird to see how our house looked back then. very pink. and before my sister drove a car through the basement window.

@MrFandude123 Really weird actually. I lived in a really small community, so EVERYONE knew. Before the show aired I'd already been on the local news & radio a lot any my school had dedicated a day to me. After the show, I got calls from Good Morning America, Good Morning Australia, Oprah, commendations from the governor, letters & gifts from around the world, and even creepy pedophile phone calls. I was a pretty shy kid to begin with so all the attention was a little overwhelming.

@MrFandude123 The actual filming itself is kindof a blur. I remember the did it in the middle of summer and had to turn off our air conditioner and fridge due to background noise. so it was 100 degrees in our house. and i have a scar on my leg from a footlight they put in my room for that scene where i was sitting on the bed with my bro. And I remember the EMT/firemen. Ironically it was the same group who were called 3 years later when my sister was born at home. (They got lost then too)

Notice Cobb 911 took the call and Bartow EMS and FD responded. Bartow EMS didn't have a station close to cobb/bartow county line at the time and FD was on a volunteer basis.

@LMA629 This was on the Cobb/Bartow line, Back when Bartow was rural, things are different now as far as EMS and FD placement. Also note that FD arrvied before EMS, the video shows they arrived at the same time.

Obviously you don't live in a rural area. Where I live, Sheriff and EMS response times can be as long as 25-30 minutes do to different rural dirt load locations.

i often wonder where the people from these episodes are today...ocasionally i search their names on facebook or myspace and sometimes i find something. i know the dispatcher from "mystery dispatch" got promoted to supervisor and had weight loss surgery and is now skinny...lol
