This version should be end of the 60ies to in the early 1970ies, so around 1969 to 1972 (because of the drum brake). I guess the 1969 version was in grey, but of course they could do another colouring.
Beastly! i'm British but i have to say the Munch Mammut shames our Vincent Black Shadow! Vincent used stainless steel tinware, in the late 40's/50's! years ahead of it's time then the Munch comes along with cast aluminium rear mudguard, sidepanels and headlight(s) nacelle!!!! Huge respect for this machine, a pride of German engineering!

sondern ausgesprochen gut, simpel und - geräumig - (wollte mir gerade den Fiat 500 zulegen, pass aber nicht rein !)
Der TTS war ja wegen einer Sportbestimmung in Serie gegangen - fürs gemeine Volk war der TT mit 1,2 L Motor angesagt, der aber auch nicht unbedingt die beste Wahl für den Alltagsbetrieb war. Aber bei 650 kg leergewicht reicht auch ein einfacher Vergaser aus.
This was a bold and well engineered concept in its day, 40 years ago... still impressive now. It has the look of a motorcycle that any true biker would love to ride, if only for ten minutes, for the experience. Munch made the Z1300 long before Kawasaki!

Man konnte die Münch schon zu sehr frühen Zeiten mit beiden Auspuff-Varianten kaufen. 4/2 und 4/4.

Ich scheiß auf A8 und VW !
NSU war um klassen besser/innovativer und ich würde mir heute noch einen NSU TTS bestellen..... weil der Motor 'ne richtige Zwiebel war und bleibt.
Wenn es nicht zu der Übernahme durch VW gekommen wäre, würden die bestimmt heute noch auf ihrem Heckmotor-boxer rumeiern.

Die Auspuffanlage ist aber selbstgebaut. Original war eine 2 in 1 Anlage.
