What's amazing about Ito evey today is that EVERYTHING she did was technically correct. No wrong edges, no cheated landings, etc. etc.--with very little prepping (i.e., no telegraphing). I just don't think there has ever been anyone before, during, or after Ito who could jump like this!
She was too far down to win even if she won the long program... she should have been second in the long program not 4th which I think is where she was placed. If she was place properly I don't know if she would have made the poduim or not, but Manley would have won ..like she should have.
I like Katarina Witt, and I know figures were important, but Ito truly should have won this competition. She outskated every other woman at this event by such a degree that it almost seems she should have been up against the men.
She showed that she is the best. Look at this program and her performance. No doubt. She was full of energy these days.
